The first photo was its original location across from the Milford Market. Now you have to head south on Rt. 29. Still has wonderful healthy food at reasonable prices. Dining outside at an Indonesian Temple setting is romantic on a summer night. Don't forget! ITS CASH ONLY!!!

Whenever I visit family in Frenchtown I look forward to a meal at Lovin' Oven. As a vegetarian, they have lots of wonderful choices. One of my favorites is the warm kale salad. I also loved the crostini with fresh figs! And save room for dessert...lots of great choices.

Bring cash because they don't take credit cards.

This restaurant backs up to the bike trail along the Delaware River, a little south of the center of Frenchtown.
You have a choice of in or outdoor seating, and a large stone wall blocks the road from the outdoor area.
The fruits and vegetables were really fresh, not surprising, because the specialty is locally grown produce. We had the Italian breakfast platter--2 eggs the way you want them, with prosciutto and melons (cantaloupe and watermelon) with a balsamic reduction plus grilled Italian bread.
This is not a restaurant for someone in a hurry, as the service is quite slow. But we had biked there from Stockton, so we were quite content with the leisurely pace. We noticed one of the other patrons was not so inclined. We saw her get up to fetch her own water and coffee from the waiter's station.
The baked goods looked wonderful, but I was unable to eat any more, so can't attest to their flavor.
As another reviewer noted, there is a store with Asian goods connected to Lovin Oven. Two Buttons is owned by Elizabeth Gilbert (of Eat Pray Love fame) and her husband and is stocked with goods they selected from various travels, such as Buddhas, prayer flags, clothes, beads, incense etc.

The food and baked goods were exceptional. Loved the vibe except for the man with the dreads and the hostess. They seemed a little intense to say the least. But the food was worth it. Our server was on top of it and beautiful inside as well as out. The food was farm to table.

We went to Lovin'Oven for a birthday celebration and encountered a very creative menu. It was hard to choose from many very fresh selections. One of our party had the warm Kale salad, made with roasted veggies, it was great. I read the fish tacos were disappointing to another reviewer, I was very happy with the three corn tacos, large pieces of nicely cooked fish, avocado and cabbage. Very filling. We arrived early to avoid a wait, though we noticed they cleaned tables quickly to get people seated. It was full by 5:30. We were NOT rushed. Save room for dessert, we had the chocolate caramel tart, worth the calories!! Cash only, no reservations, an outside patio for additional seating (with large umbrellas), plenty of parking, enjoy!
