Great food, fabulous desserts, and the service was excellent. We sat at a table by the bar, so it was pretty noisy. The other rooms seemed quaint. I would definitely go back.

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent lunch in an historical inn. Great food and beautiful place to have a relaxed lunch or dinner.

Went to the Frenchtown Inn right after the present chef owner took over. I recall a pleasant early Sunday dinner dinning experiance. We just never had the opportunity to return. Needed a place to meet some very dear friends for dinner. They lived some distance from us now, so I went onTripAdvisor for a location that was about halfway for both of us. Out of all the restaurants in that area, The Frenchtown Inn was right near the top in ratings. It was the asbsolute right choice for our dinner reunion with our old friends. The atmosphere was just right. The menu was excellent. Had The duck and quail special. (Wow!) Duck breast was a perfect medium, Quail was stuffed and was served over a wild rice and veg combo. The veg all were cooked induvidually, and prefect. ( I'm off raw green beans and raw brocolli). There wasn't an unhappy diner in our party. The chilean seabass (patagonian toothfish), that my wife enjoyed was right up there with the duck and quail. Atmosphere of the restaurant was just the right thing. Our friends kept saying, (How did you find this place)? We won't let so much time go by before we return. It's a special place for a special time. Lets make more special times.

Lovely inn with great food and wonderful atmosphere. Situated near the river in a pretty little town, it is a top notch place with great service that is well worth the price.

Staff was friendly. Great little meal for a fun time in Frenchtown. If you like to visit old inns, this is a must when in Frenchtown.
