“Best sushi buffet in town”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

We go to this restaurant to celebrate special occasions. They have a huge selection of sushi and Japanese dishes here. And the sushi is fresh, My wife and three kids enjoy the wide variety of dishes to choose from. The buffet price is well worth it. For dessert my favorite is the green tea ice cream. We will always go back here. I recommend this place.

“Average Sushi for ALL One Can Eat”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

We have had sushi in Hawaii (supermarkets and restaurants), in New Jersey, and in Florida. For $20 on a wweeknight, one can enjoy unlimited amounts of sushi, sashimi, raw clams and oysters, and many other foods on the buffet. They do have a grill of cooked to order items as well. Although we overfilled ourselves on the sushi and sashimi, there are better places for a higher quality food with table service and at a limited price. For example, for the four of us, the total bill was $80 plus beverages plus tax plus tip. We used the 10% off coupon which one can find in local advertising mags or online. However, we could also go up to Matawan, order exactly what we want (less dessert only for 2 of us), and pay $75 tip included. Table service for clearing was attentive as well as refilling beverages. However, it was a weeknight and it was slow (only 6 tables) filled. They did have a birthday disco ball and music turned on for celebrating a birthday party at one table. We have visited this place three times int he past 6 months, and this last visit, both my spouse and I have experienced stomach cramps for 3 days so far since eating here. The kiddies were not affected.
