We spent a week at Pine Cone in a motorhome with slide-outs. Overall this is a quiet, pleasant campground. We’ve stayed there before, and we would stay there again.
The pros are: (1) very generous back-in site with plenty of width for the slide-outs and more than enough length to park the car in front of the coach; (2) although the roads within the campground aren't paved, they are level and smooth; (3) we didn't use the on-site amenities, but the pool appeared clean and well-maintained; (4) free cable; (5) many of the sites are well-shaded with large trees and (6) campground location and access are reasonably convenient, i.e., less than two miles from a large highway.
The cons—and these probably wouldn’t be a concern for everyone—are: (1) no wifi at our site; (2) cellular phone signal (Sprint) was too low to make calls from inside the coach, but we could text; (3) we travel with a cellular modem for Internet (Verizon), but the signal was marginal; (4) no trash pick-up on site, but it’s easy to drop off your trash on the way out of the campground; and (5) the on-site laundry is very expensive. The dryers cost three times as much as the local Laundromat we used instead.
