On my 2nd visit here, I enjoyed the prime rib..so tender, I could cut it with a butter knife. My husband had the salmon and was pleased with his meal. We both enjoy this place & will be going back to try other dishes. Staff is friendly and attentive. Nice variety on the menu.

Been going to The Cabin for years and it's always been a place to have a good meal and a fun time. The nightly specials (especially Monday's half price pizza and wings) draw a big crowd. The steaks are excellent and reasoanbly priced. The weekend bands bring in a lot of people, mostly in the 30s, 40s and 50s range. Tara at the secondary bar is a terrific bartender.

The joint was jumping, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. In all fairness, I had the ribeye, which was cooked properly and average. We had four in our party, and two of the other meals were poor. The seafood sampler special was just plain BAD. Our waitress should have offered to take it off the bill, or offered dessert, or something.

My wife had a shrimp and pasta dish that was mostly pasta... she left a large plate of food behind. Seeing large amounts of uneaten food is usually a clue that it's just not a great place to eat. Seems like a great place to drink though.

So if you want bar food and decent beer (although they were out of Smithwick's), go here. If you want good food, don't go here.

Almost forgot, we were seated in front room, which is extremely noisy... difficult to have a conversation without shouting.

First time back since the fire. Friends and I (nine total )stopped for lunch. Although being a large group, we were seated quickly with no issues due to the size of our group. Service was quick and attentive. Lunch menu/specials were typical lunch fare, nothing special. Rueban and chicken fajitas were especially good. No reason not to return but no reason to rush back either.

Moved to tbe area and tried this place a few times - each time the food got worse. Crowded because it's the only place in a few mile radius. Plus it's known to be a biker bar.No more for us
