“Go for Beer/Appetizer Specials (during football games)”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2012

We came in here randomly on a Sunday night since we were staying at a local hotel. It was nicely decorated with Christmas items. I was a fan of the interior and high ceilings. Apparently they went through a renovation about 3 years ago. To our surprise, all appetizers were half price and beers were on special since it was Sunday night football. We ordered wings, sliders, and chili. The wings were alright - they were a tad on the dry end. The chili was actually the best item we ordered and it was only $2.50 after being 1/2 off - it came with tortilla chips. The sliders were nothing special - we realized that the server never even asked us how we wanted to the sliders cooked. All in all, the place was decent. I would go back if I lived in the area, but only during the specials. 8 dry wings at $8 (full price) is a bit too much if you ask me. I would go back for the beer specials and the chili! Our waiter AJ was pretty good overall. Definitely check this place out during football games for a good atmosphere and good beer specials.

Very noisy, slow service, mediocre food. Entertainment took 35 minutes to "tune up" and then dissapointed. Any questions?

“Tuesday's at Moore's!”

Can't beat the price on Tuesday's! Have a great burger or chicken sandwich, appetizer (half price) and beverage, beer or soda for about $20. We go there often.

“why do people go here?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2012

This was the 3rd time my wife and i have gone to Moores. First, you can't call an establishment a "tavern" and employ bartenders that don't know how to pour a Guiness. After our first visit we thought maybe we just got a new bartender and everyone deserves a second chance so my wife and i went back because we really wanted to like the place, afterall we live only 5 mins away. This time i asked the waitress in advance if there was an experienced bartender working who can pour a proper guiness. She said yes so we gave it a try. Once again we were disappointed. We should have know that no real drinkers go there b/c of the giant funnels on the tables that they fill with miller lite (why not just have water?).
Tonight was our 3rd and final try. This time we went just for dinner. Many of the menu choices sounded great but boy were we disappointed again. We asked for Teriyaki BBQ wings but they had none so we tried Thai BBQ. They were dry and had almost no flavor. For dinner i had a burger that the menu said would have onion rings and BBQ sauce. It came with lettuce, tomato & onion as well which i didn't want and it was terrible. They used a cheap BBQ sauce that ruined the entire burger. My wife ordered a burger with bleu cheese & bacon. Now how can you mess that up? Well they did. It too was very dry and the bacon was terribly under cooked. 3 strikes and Moores Tavern & Restaurant is OUT!

“Great place to relax”

Good variety of foods. Comfortable seating. Waitress was very attentive to our needs. It's not fancy but it is just what I need sometimes.
