This long standing French food restaurant has been a local favorite of ours for many years. This is our 2nd visit to this small intimate restaurant now under under new management with a chef actually trained in France who wants to get back to his roots. Although we have 2 French restaurants in our area, until now I was unable to find some staples of French cooking. Last night a group of 6 went for dinner. Among the specials was sweetbreads, a dish I have not seen or even heard offered in this area ever before. The order was placed, the large and as flavorful as I ever had elsewhere. The addition of this French staple to this local eatery was much appreciated. Kudos.
We all started with appetizers, ranging from salads to escargot, entrees ranging from lamb shank to sea bass, deserts from profiteroles to crepe suzette. All enjoyed a very delicious dinner. Only complaint was the tasteless rolls accompanied by excellent butter and a liver mousse. A restaurant that does food as well as the Chef's Table should offer good bread.

Quiet Ambience but hectic service. Good appetizer and entree in the buffet. Dessert was excellent. Can't wait to try their dinner service.

The restaurant is located in an unfortunate place; but the inside more than makes up for the strip mall atmosphere on the outside. Beautiful and intimate setting, with tables not to close to one another, service exemplary, and an interesting menu. We were slightly disappointed in the food itself. It was well presented with large portions; but the quality of the dishes suffered a bit. Prices fairly standard.

I was there several years ago prior to the Chefs Table closing and enjoyed it, well last night we went back with the same people and we all thought it was even better. The appetizers were nothing short of spectacular and the main courses were all spot on. If your tired of the same ho-hum Italian or steak places, I strongly recommend giving this place a shot.

If you like better prepared and different meats, fish and appetizers then go. A few of the stars were the John Dory, Venison and the yellow tail/ fois gras appetizer were fantastic. The only negative is that the diners tend to be a little older and stuffy, but no problem because we made it more lively. The wait staff is excellent and the prices are a bit high but worth every penny.

What a disappointment tonight. The server was the worst we have ever experienced. I have to say that previous owner's service was not the best but it should not be worse than before.
