“Great kid-friendly dinner after Northlandz train exhibit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2012

After visiting Northlandz (the train exhibit across the street), we ended the afternoon with brick oven pizza at Alfonso's 202 across the street - great find. The food was delicious (and a great value), the service was great, and it was kid friendly. Would definitely eat there again.

“Gluten-free pasta & waitresses in skin-tight clothing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2012

From the wall hangings, this place is clearly a local favorite for pizza. But the menu was much more extensive than I expected. And I was surprised that they have gluten-free versions of nearly all menu items. On this visit, I was in a hurry and just had a sub sandwich -- I wasn't disappointed. It was enormous, and for $8 it was more than I could eat in one sitting. I was just surprised how provocatively the waitresses were dressed for a family restaurant. Maybe that helps draw in the crowds.

“terrible customer services”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2012

First of all it was a nice night with nice food until the manager of the store ruined the night for us by adding 2 more drinks to our check that we didn't order. When we asked why they are there he said in order to get the offer which is buy one get 1 half off you have to get drinks. We said that's not on the menu and then he started testing us on the menu. Saying how do you know it's tonight buy one get 1 half off. We said it's there on the menu. He said I don't care. When we said it's the waitress's responsibility to tell us that; he said no, it's your responsibility to ask before you order the food. He actually made me feel like he was almost gonna beat us up. When we said that's bad customer service and we are gonna put it on trip advisor to let the people know how bad your services are he said I don't care. We will never going back to this place.

“Buy one get one half off(but only if you can mind read that you need to PURCHASE A DRINK”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2012

We just got back from dinner at this place. It was buy one, get one free night, as it was stated on their take out menu. The waitress came to take our order-drinks first-and only 2 of us ordered drinks then the food. The food came out, then the bill. We had asked for separate checks-it all came out on one, plus we were charged for 4 drinks. We know we only ordered 2, so where does the extra charge come in? Waitress says that the boss, "JOE" stated that the 4 dollars for the 2 non exisiting drinks will stand or they would have to charge us FULL PRICE for the dishes. I asked for her to send JOE to our table. This jerk tried to put the blame on us for the drink mistake, saying we should have asked how the buy one get one works. Does this make sense to us? NO. Are we mind readers? NO. Why would you ask how a buy one get one works? When we go to Fridays and use their coupons, its stated on the coupon that to get the free entree you need to purchase 2 beverages. Take note that NO WHERE is this listed at Alfonso's-not on line, on the menu,at the tables, on the chalkboard. NO WHERE. You would think that as an act of good faith and CUSTOMER SERVICE he would have taken the 4 dollars off and kept a customer. JOE didn't care-if he would have taken the 4 dollars off, his waitress wouldn't have lost out on a 16 dollar tip. He kept on saying we should have asked-why? Do you ask Mcdonalds how the ordering of a happy meal works? Or at the gas station? Please Mr Attendent, explain to me how getting the gas works-do I have to do anything? This JOE brags about being in customer service for 9 years, but in my book, he should be slapped on the wrist for the worst handling of a situation that could have been so easily remedied. Then he took our payment and proceeded to discuss the situation that his server and himself created, with the other wait staff. Thats such good management. Only visit this place if you know ALL OF THEIR RULES-or else!!!!

Very good pizza place and restaurant. Pizza is one of the best in the area IMO. Other meals are very good. Basic Italian here, nothing out of the norm, Very good service and decent pricing.
