Good food, nice atmosphere, and BYOB. We have tried many different dishes and have enjoy them all. The specials tend to be a bit more expensive than their regular menu items but the menu has a large enough selection to choose from without needing the specials. I usually don't get appetizers but there is always an appetizer that catches my eye and I have always enjoyed it. All of our friends that we have brought here have enjoyed the experience. The servers are pleasant and attentive.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and ended up having the best pizza ever! Our son also enjoyed his pasta dish. Pleasant dining room, but wonderful pizza! Highly recommend!

Nice menu with all the essentials. BYOB. There is a lot of competition for Italian wannabes (you know, pizza parlors pretending to be good restaurants) but this one actually executes both pizza and entrees pretty well.

I have been to Capuanos many times, and it has consistently been excellent. Most of our family has dietary restrictions, and we are able to modify items on the menu to exclude dairy.

Their pasta fagiolia is reasonably priced and is made without chicken broth. They have whole wheat pasta available too. Their calamari is the most tender that I have had, and we have always said that this is the true test of an Italian restaurant. It is very difficult to achieve consistency when making calamari. In just a few seconds it may become very rubbery, but it has been consistently tender and delicious at Capuanos.

Capuanos in Flemington is one of three restaurants by the same owner. The other two are in the West Windsor area (I believe).

What we really love is their freshly baked bread that is served with seasoned olive oil. They have an awesome portobello dish with eggplant, roasted peppers and spinach. It comes with cheese, but they modify for us without cheese. They also have sauteed broccoli that they make us without butter.

They make a wonderful NY style pizza with a rectangular shape and thin crust. This pizza is made with a sweet delicious marinara sauce topped with fresh mozzeralla and basil. They make it for us without cheese, and I am telling you that you must try it!

If you order pasta with sauce we would recommend you specifically ask for the NY style pizza sweet sauce. It is in our opinion superior to the one they serve pasta with.

Although Capuanos has been at this location (previously owned as Capos) for at least a year, we feel that no one knows about it. We have introduced this place to friends and family, and everyone has been very pleased.

Can you tell we like this place? You will too!
