This was the third visit to 55 Main and the best so far. The soft shell crabs were a seasonal special along with a Thai carrot soup. The soup was very tasty and a nice balance of creaminess and a touch of lime juice. The coconut and carrot flavors blended nicely and made for a pleasant starter. The soft shell crabs were lightly breaded and fried, sealing in the juiciness of the crab. It could have been a bit crispier, but was good nonetheless. Went on a Wednesday and was no problem to get a table, but have been turned away in the past on a busy Saturday. The decor is nice and inviting. Service is good and the chef came out to talk to us at the table. Very friendly. Will plan on going back more often.
