My family planned a relaxing weekend in Atlantic City to celebrate "Granny's" 85th Birthday. Most of the adults in the family, like to gamble; however some of us do not enjoy parting with our money so easily. The Egg Harbor location was perfect for all! The gamblers rode the shuttle to the casino's in Atlantic City and the rest of us were able to enjoy the Aquarium (hands-on), shopping, great food and even a movie.

I must admit, it was a little tiring driving back and forth from Atlantic City, back to the hotel; however I do not believe the relaxing part of the weekend could have been accomplished in such an environment of "Casino's," especially with children in tow.

FYI, be sure to wash the dishware in the kitchen; we found a long strand of hair on the cutting board (yuck!).

We all agreed that we will be back next year, so if you are in the area; please be sure to wish Granny a Happy 86th Birthday!

The hotel is brand new with all the facilities in excellent condition. The kitchen was fully equipped.

We have taken a two bedroom suite, and found the room to be quite comfortable.

We could not have breakfast as it finishes too early in the morning.

The hotel is located in a quiet area. You must drive to reach AC. We were lucky to have our own car as you need to drive for at least 10 to 15 minutes to get to the main attractions at AC.

The hotel was very nice, modern, and clean as it should be for a brand new hotel. I was very disappointed on the quality and lack of professionalism with the staff at this Marriott property. When we checked-in, the clerk Cameron acted as if we were bothering him to check us in. There was no welcome, thank you for staying with us. He barely said a word to us and had a major attitude. Then we came down later that evening to purchase something from the Market and another guest had an inquiry. He treated her in the same attitude like he was being bothered to answer her questions. In the morning when we checked out, the new clerk, Kamron, was just as bad with his lack of customer service. He was on a personal telephone call and didn't even get off the phone when he checked us out. It was very unprofessional and rude. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service. They need to train their staff on proper customer service.

Very nice new clean hotel. Flat screen tv's, granite counters, even granite window sills. Good breakfast. Eye-sore trailer park next door, but the hotel itself is nice.

Stayed at this hotel while visiting family nearby. Booked on points - I'm Marriott Platinum.

I can truly say that this is by far the nicest Residence Inn that I've ever seen. I was joking that this must have gotten built just prior to the economy going south, because they didn't skimp. The furnishings are quite nice and there are large flatscreen tvs in the rooms.

I definitely recommend this hotel for business or personal travel for those in the area.
