I like Hilton Garden Inns.

I travel for business probably 100+ days a year frankly my having no complaints means this place is pretty darn good. The breakfast was really good - individually cooked. The internet was fast, the flat screen TV had lots of channels and the entire facility was clean.

Nice size room, big desk with wall outlets right on top and a comfortable chair. In short a very good example of what I have come to expect at Hilton Garden Inns and why I like them.

Just came from a road trip where we stayed one night at the Hilton Garden Inn in Edison, NJ at the Raritan Center. After a long, dusty ride all the way from exit 1, this was the best place to stop. Very convenient, only two minutes off the NJ Turnpike. despite it being near the big roadways, we didn't hear the typical low rumble of trucks, etc. We used our GPS and found it very easy to get to with the GPS. The bed had a option to change the firmness, not sure what it is exactly called, but it was heavenly sleep. The room has a microwave, fridge, coffemaker, and nice Neutogena products in the bathroom. The linens were as they say, very much a duvet extra special experience, soft, comfy. BUT the special kudos go to the manager Amy who introduced herself to us at breakfast, a nice buffet with a typical extra price, but worth it. then when we left a bag with important items behind, Amy found it very quickly and is sending it to us by FedEx .

This property is one of the best that I have been to. The staff is super friendly and make it a point to go out of their way for you. Clean property, Smoking rooms available. Lobby resturant is fantastic with something going on almost every night. You HAVE to stay here!!!!!

Room Tip: Smoking available on top floor.

Very well located off NJ 95. Clean, comfortable, good size rooms. Breakfast a very nice selection and well prepared. Staff professional and helpful. Problem was the temperature of the room. We had two rooms, close to each other. Both experienced the same difficulty. Our room had the a/c on to 60 when we entered. Adjusted, not understanding why this was so.
Later that night we understood. The hotel was so hot that we had to put on the a/c. That resulted in so much noise coming from the unit that we could not sleep. Don't understand why the hotel was heated to the point of needing a/c in November.

Room Tip: Stay on side of hotel away from RT. 514. Rooms on other side don't have the traffic noise.

Stayed there for business. It was comfrotable, generally clean and well maintained. except for an odd odor in the hallway, though the room smelled reasonably fresh. Good service. It's not near anything else, though, except for the Raritan Center, so make sure you check out the restaurants in Edison and Metuchen, because you can't walk anywhere from here.
The restaurant was also good, deecent food at a decent rpice, but not great.

Room Tip: Third floor hallway smelled odd.
