“Great dessert in a funky ambiance”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

A bit pricey but great atmosphere, awesome "cave" like architecture, great service and great dessert. If you are lucky, request a seat in the back "cave", well worth the wait. The location is a hot spot, rather small and always a wait but everything is always good, HUGE selection of unique desserts which always impress, even the tea and coffee. You will be "Instagramming" your pictures of this place for sure.

“late night snack”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

the place has good service, very good food, this is a funky-looking place inside, feels like a cave; unfortunately their prices are a bit high though, but some plates can be shared, like the desserts, and tea or coffee. Can be a bit loud inside at times.

“Cool Dining in a Cave!”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

the seating in the back "cave" area is worth waiting for! Be sure to have a camera/camera phone, you would want to make multiple pictures.
Be patient- cafe is small and gets very busy. We came for desserts - all delicious and humongous; but actually their food is pretty good, too. Definitely can recommend a pot of tea to go with your meal. Bring your kids/nieces/nephews/their friends - you will be named coolest adults on the planet!

“Really cool dessert spot”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Had a light bite here once a few years back, and it was good but nothing special. I am a HUGE fan of their desserts, and the ambiance is very cool. Dark and cave-like, it's a very laid-back place. Lots of very unique dessert creations to choose from, along with a large coffee/tea selection.

“It was better when it was Enigma”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

Back in 1985 this restaurant was Enigma. The cave room WAS the only place to dine and it was out of this world. Sad to say, nearly thirty years later, the front room addition does not come close to the original design and in my opinion resembles human intestines or worms....not very appetizing. The last time I went (March 2012) I brought a date from out of town who had I had raved about this unique location that I had frequented since my youth. What a monumental disappointment. We were told that a minimum of 6 people were required to sit in the cave....wow. How the times have changed. After we were escorted to a lackluster table in the back room, crummy service was what we received. When we asked for the Manager awaiting over thirty minutes to give our order, he was less than genuine in his apology. If you go, I hope your experience is better than mine was.
