“Surprisingly nice hotel”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

We stopped here on short notice (7/2/2012)--were hesitant after reading the reviews. Looked horrible from the outside, but when we stepped inside, we were pleasantly surprised. The lobby is nice with a spacious breakfast room and variety of foods: waffles, yogurt, breads, various juices, various cereals, oatmeal, danish, etc. The double queen room was HUGE and clean. Nice decor. Cultured marble in the bathroom--not the cheaper materials typically found at chains. Staff was helpful. Price was good and it's one block from the Turnpike, so it's super convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

As a choice member i have stayed a many comfort inn, quality inn, marriott's, i recently stayed at this quality inn. it is behind a seedy motel(half of the rooms are boarded up). the hotel is a older hotel but there were all new bed spreads and towels, the queens were actually doubles, there was a lot of room to move around, and the rooms were quiet. and is a pet friendly hotel. rooms/halls are clean the safe was on the floor but who actually uses it. Bad: Breakfast: they had hot plates set to the side but no hot food in site(only hot food was the waffles). they had some yougurt, pasties, the juices were watered down. breakfast just sucked. the tub area had some mildew, no microwave in room but the was a small fridge, you have to log onto the internert ever time you turn off the computer/kindle or ipad. front desk staff was hit and miss. would i stay there again? most like no. it all depends. if you all you going to do is sleep and hit the road i guess its ok but if you staying for more then 2 days stay some where else

I stayed there this past weekend and was very dissappointed ! The room and hallway smell of carpet freshener. Obviously to cover something up. Alarm did not work, Hotel and rooms were warn down looking and behind a seedy motel. Food was not good. Coffee was a joke, if thats what you called it. All the other surrounding hotels where booked. Don't stay here. Drive the extra miles !

We had a coupon to stay at this motel. Even with the coupon, the room was not cheap after they added on additional expenses for pets. The rooms were old and not well maintained. My husband checked the beds and they seemed clean. So we decided to stay. In the morning we could not find one of our cats. The beds were on a platform. We lifted the mattress up and there was our cat. I saw mold and mildew on the carpet, but had to reach in to retrive her. It was disgusting! The next few days, both my mother--who is 90--and I were having trouble with congestion. The motel offered a continental breakfast. This consisted of hot coffee, cold fountain drinks, and individually wrapped muffins, and danish. That's it. No healthy choices. I will never stay in this place again.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a week, the hotel is very comfortable and very well kept. Its in a nice quite area. Breakfast is plentiful. and the staff was very generous with accommodating us at very late hours of the night. They also sold us cheap six flags tickets and saved us some money.

We had to stay overnight for a family function and needed an afforable hotel close by. After reading reviews from trip advisor users, we decided on the Quality Inn. The hotel was clean, neat and easily accessed from the NJ Turnpike. The rooms were large, the hotel offered free continental breakfast, which was quite good for a quick eat. I would recommend this hotel for nearby stays. Free Wi-fi, safe in room, all the amenities of a higher-priced hotel. They also offered senior discounts, which is always appreciated.

Room Tip: 1st floor for easy access if needed, no elevator in hotel to 2nd floor

We've now stayed at this Quality Inn 3 times on the journeys from outside Boston to the Eastern Shore in Maryland. The Inn is clean, the rooms are comfortable and have a small fridge. We appreciated the AAA discount and breakfast buffet. Basic items on the buffet, many packaged, but it was quick and easy and the price is right. Kind staff and definitely and "easy-on; easy-off" place to stay near exit 8.
