It was the cheapest hotel available in the area and was very close to freeways. I was in for 2 Nights the place was packed with Chinese Tourists. They have a Hooters in the property which was a plus point ;)
Cheap beer, Delicious Wings and Hot Waiterresses. What else you want for 69$ per Night. They should change the televisions to Flat Screen Lcds now. The Breakfast was average and the front desk staff was wonderfull. The cleaners did a wonderfull job and overall it was a pleasant expierence

I've never had a very favorable experience of Days Inns, but everything potentially better that we tried for Saturday night in the Brunswick NJ area was booked solid, so we made a late reservation from the road and stayed here. We arrived after dark, the parking lot was packed solid, it seemed a little dingy from the outside -- but it was raining, I stepped in a puddle getting out of the car, and things seemed bound for downhill from there.

In fact, the experience was quite the opposite. The front desk was friendly and helpful, found or reservations and checked us in immediately, assuring us we were not on the Turnpike side of the building. There was an elevator to our floor, no waiting. The non-smoking king room was pleasantly furnished and very comfortable, we slept well, I used the new-ish equipment in the very small fitness room, then had the complimentary breakfast. Breakfast included decent pastries, yogurt, cereal, milk, juice, coffee...no fresh fruit. All this for a very reasonable price.

Room Tip: Request rooms on the Route 18 side...

I stayed here while relocating; I chose it because it has truck parking. The hotel was surprisingly clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful.

I booked this room for 2 days, it advertises there is a seasonal swimming pool, there is no pool, and has not been for over a year. I would have taken my money and stayed else where had there advertising been correct. GOOD GOING DAYS INN IN EAST BRUNSWICK, WAY TO TAKE PEOPLES MONEY..

I guess I can agree with many others except for a few outliers who had poor experiences. Days Inn is a low- to mid-range chain and this falls firmly into that category. Few will choose to stay here but if you need to be in the area, it’s perfectly adequate for a short visit if you’re looking for a good value – better than the lower-end Best Western, much less than the expensive nearby Hilton.

My GF and I and my adult son stayed just one night on a family visit and had no complaints. The welcome and reception was smooth, courteous, and efficient. Without asking we were provided with adjacent rooms. Both were no frills, but clean, with a comfortable bed, and free easy access WiFi (but not in the breakfast room). We didn’t turn on the TV; I assume there was one. I rather liked the shower many spray settings. Our rooms faced away from the highway and the road noise was not at all bothersome. Even though it was a Saturday night, there was no boisterous activity from the attached Hooters.

My only real complaint is the quality of the breakfast. As others have said, it’s your basic continental “cuisine.” Plain bagels, prepackaged pastries, instant oatmeal, a few dry cereals, yogurt, and such. No hot food . It will provide basic filler, but no more. It did seem to satisfy what looked like a bunch of high school or college kids in town for an athletic event. If you want more, there’s an IHOP and a Denny’s next to each other just down the road (but on the other side of Rte. 18 and therefore a bit complicated to get to).

If you’re coming south off the Turnpike the entrance is, literally, within yards of the ramp onto Rte. 18. If you’re coming from the south, get directions from the hotel. You do need to go past it, across the Turnpike, and double back.

Room Tip: There's no view, so request the quieter rear away from the highway.

"No frills" says it all, or almost all. This hotel is in between aging and run down. In its favor, the linens and bathroom are clean and the continental breakfast is ordinary but adequate. Traffic volume and noise, vehicular access, and a rotten fitness room, however, mean there are as many Cons as Pros for this property. Not recommended for more than 2-3 days, and only if you need a "budget" (sort of) hotel in East Brunswick with good access to the NJ Turnpike and Newark Airport.

The rooms are basic, with a small fridge and a miniature microwave, and have poor lighting if more than one person wants to read. The room TV is an old Cathode Ray Tube model with poor picture quality and basic cable channels. If you want adult movies, though, you're in luck. The HVAC under-window units are hard to adjust to suit, and are quite noisy. You may welcome the noisy fan, though, once you experience the traffic noise that kicks in around 5:30 AM with truck and bus traffic. Traffic on Rt 18, on which this hotel is located, is extremely heavy Northbound in the AM and Southbound in the PM. Access to the hotel on southbound 18 is easy, so long as you signal well in advance and keep putting on your brake lights to keep from being rear-ended by NJ's aggressive and rude drivers. Access going northbound is more difficult, initially, until you discover the exit that takes you under the highway and brings you up behind the hotel and its attached Hooters restaurant. The hotel is, in fact, sandwiched between Rt 18 and the NJ Turnpike, and has an integrated conference center with Hooters attached.

We found eating well to be a challenge. Finding (and getting to) good restaurants can be tricky. The joints recommended by the front desk are not great, so you have to be prepared to fight the traffic and the NJ "All Turns From Right Lane Only" highway layout. If you want to avoid the ubiquitous chains with their ho-hum food and service, please see my recommendation for the nearby Perkins Restaurant and Bakery.

If you're a fitness buff, you'll be really disappointed. The so-called "Fitness Room" they advertise is a joke. It has one rickety treadmill whose belt slips and whose settings can't all be accessed; and a stationary bike whose mechanism squeaks with each pedal rotation. These "cardio" machines seem not to have been serviced, ever. There is, however, a 3-position weight station that is serviceable.

The East Brunswick/New Brunswick area seems to have a plethora of poor hotels. This one is firmly in the mid-range category, at which you're likely to pay more than you think it's worth, but you avoid the really bottom-end places and don't have to pay for the much better (but more pricey) accommodations off Rt 1 or in the Rutgers Univ. area. We travel to this area 2-3 times a year for family reasons, and are still looking for a fairly-priced motel we'd be happy to return to.

Room Tip: The front desk told us upon check-in that our room on the Rt 18 side was quieter than the rooms on t...
