We arrived not sure what to expect but was surprised to see an actually line out of the door. During the fall we talked with some nice locals and said it's always busy. Pricing on the beer is more then fair and if your a craft beer lover this stop is a must and won't disappoint. Try the pumpkin brew. Really good.
Been going here for quite a while and brought many others here as well. I remember going when we were the only dozen or so that were there. Now it's obviously a go to for many more beer drinkers.
Let me start by saying that the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. Then comes the beer, which is absolutely phenomenal. Have not had a bad beer here and I've tried them all. Personal favorites to date are the Habenero, not too spicy, and the Rusty Farmer, a malty, slightly sweet red ale.
Bring your own food or snacks and just enjoy the experience. Highly recommended.
How does it get even better than this? Ingredients grown right here on the farm, beer crafted onsite, able to enjoy the fruits of labor here on the farm as well! Fresh is totally the name of the game here at Screamin' Hill!
You are welcome to bring chairs and your own snacks or bring a pizza to go with your beer flight! The open vista surrounding all the farm land is quite peaceful. The vibe is very laid back.
The one down side to this location is that they are only open till 5 pm on Saturday, closed Sunday. Friday nights you can come by from 3-8 pm
The beer is fine indeed!
Small farm brewer in Cream Ridge. Brews with their own home-grown ingredients (grows barley and hope on site). Nice selection of ales, stout, wheat beers. Flights (samplers) available as well as growlers to go. There are tables outside for sitting if the weather is nice.
In the fall they have pumpkin picking, hay rides, donuts, etc.
Only open friday happy hour and Saturday, check before you go.
I wish they were open more often! Great beers!!!
A neat little brewery with great beer, reasonably priced at $7 for 4 beer samples of your choice; the day I went they had 6 beers to choose from, all 4 I tried were excellent; recommend the Habanero Ale- not spicy at all, just a nice little kick at the end. They fill growlers also, including growlers from other breweries. Combine this with Cream Ridge Winery nearby for an excellent day trip on a quiet Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Brewery closes at 5pm, winery nearby closes at 6pm, so do the brewery first. It does get packed at the brewery, and it is a small place, but if the weather is nice, take your samples outside.
