Description: Zinna's Bistro is a family-owned and operated Italian-American bistro that opened in January 2010. It is one of the hidden gems that make up the treasured Cranbury community. At Zinna's, we believe good food is simple food made with the freshest, highest quality ingredients available including a variety of produce that grows in our very own on-premise garden.

“Right from the garden fresh vegetables used in the meals”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

We have eaten at this restaurant a few times and it seems to have gotten better. They have a garden on the property and use the fresh vegetables in your meals. The food is very good. They have steaks, fish, pastas. This visit we have the pasta with meat sauce, chicken risotto, fried calamari, shrimp risotto and cheese ravioli. Everyone like their meal very much. We took home doggie bags from two of the meals and had enough for a second meal for each person. The restaurant is a little noisy so it is a little hard to have conversation but not too terrible. We found it hard as our Mom has a hearing problem. On Saturdays they have a guitar player which makes the conversation harder but the music is always nice. The price was probably typical but seemed a little pricy. They do not have a liqueur license so you can bring your own wine/beer which is nice and keeps the cost down. I would recommend this restaurant..

“Wanted to like this restaurant...but”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

Zinna's has a very nice decor and atmosphere but that is about the best you can say.
Dinner menu is limited and prices are high for what you get. Portions are on the large size, but the food is fair at best. Waitstaff can be hit or miss depending on who you get.

This is a restaurant that tries, but falls short.

“Decent Place”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

The portions are a nice size and the food is pretty good. It's nothing to write home about but if you're looking for a quiet place to eat where you'll get a good amount of food for your buck, then check out this place. The service was good too.

“Great find!”
Reviewed September 1, 2012

Had lunch here while traveling along the Garden State Parkway. The lunch menu had a large variety of food, the prices were very competitive, and the food itself was very good as well. It's only about 10-15 minutes off the Parkway and is worth the drive. The food is much better than anything at a rest stop.

“Cannot Wait to Return”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

This restaurant was within walking distance of the hotel, and we were not sure what to expect. We dined here for dinner on a weekday with three children. Upon entering we found that the restaurant had a nice ambiance and live music. Our food was very fresh. While eating, I commented that the herbs and vegetables in the pasta salad tasted like they were plucked straight from a garden, and we noticed while leaving that the restaurant in fact has a huge garden behind it. Our servings were very large, yet most of our entrees cost less than $10 each. Service was good. We noticed that the restaurant is BYOB (bring your own bottle), which we may do next time. The food was extremely high quality for the price.
