My husband and I recently tried El Sitio for the 1st time and we were left with mixed reviews. The menu was on the small side but had interesting dishes so we decided to give it a try. We asked the waiter for his recommendations and he suggested the standard steak items on the menu. We explained we were looking for something a bit more adventurous since this is to be Argentinian and Peruvian cuisine and he then recommended everything else on the menu but couldn't give any specifics about dishes. Just as we were about to leave a woman (the owner perhaps?) stopped by our table and we began to discuss the menu with her. She had far better suggestions and we went with her recommendations. The food was ok, but just ok. I was expecting to be blown away by the flavors but really wasn't. We'll try again another night but after trying a few more restaurants in town.
