This is a diner and the good is really pretty good. As most diners, they have a huge menu so everything cannot be great but their bread is baked fresh every day. If you want the absolute best NJ Taylor Ham Egg and Cheese go to Clinton Diner and get it on their homemade rye bread! Part of the diner is an old train car. Its kind of neat but I won't sit in there because it actually feels like it is moving. Its just an illusion because of the highway with moving traffice being right next to it but kind of cool. They are know for their huge burgers which I hear are great but I don't like burgers so can't say.

This is a dinner that also tries to be a restaurant and achieves the worst of both worlds. While the diner-type food is good, it takes too long to get served. And the restaurant-type food is not that good. Lots of desserts are on display that look great but disappoint once you go to eat them. Ok to go here late at night for some diner food if you aren't in a hurry. Otherwise, we stay away.

It's a diner. It's local. It's convenient. But all in all, it's not great. It's got the basic diner fare, a menu the size of a book, and a dessert cabinet with goodies that definitely look better than they taste. It's an average diner with an enticing train car for the kids, but the food is nothing spectacular. And, in all honestly, it could use a good cleaning. But, some things need to be overlooked when you're just looking for a quick bite any time during the day or night.

We've had the pleasure of eating here numerous times as we travel between eastern NJ and PA. Located along interstate 78 this diner consists of a modern building with a converted railroad car annex.
The menu consists of the usual diner fare with a generous salad bar and assortment of desserts. The breakfast and lunch foods have been consistently good . This last time we ate here was on a mid October Sunday during "leaf peeping" season. They were very busy, but the wait staff was very accommodating and cheerful. My only criticism is the off highway access when traveling from west to east. The local directions are sparce.

Been here a number of times and the food, in general, is fine. But that is about it. Like most NJ diners, you should stay away from higher end dishes. For example, the last visit we used a coupon. My wife had the prime rib and I had the rib eye. My wife is an excellent judge of prime rib and it was by far an inferior cut and was too thin. The taste was not there. The rib eye was mediocre. Generally speaking, you go for the standard fare and it will be fine. The bonus for this diner is that they have an actual train car which you can eat in.
