Stony Hill Farms

They got the best maze and I love their pies and cider donuts. People there are very friendly and helpful. We got lost in this year's maze but it was a lot of fun.

Cute farm with great jams, pies, and produce. Not a huge variety but you have all the basics. Great activities for kids, especially in the fall. I love the corn maze!

From September through mid November there's a 10 acre corn maze that is open at this location. I've visited here 3 of the past 4 years with friends. It's a fun outing & being big kids at heart as my friends & I are, we have a competitive competition searching for the various clues & stamps within the maze. Of course it doesn't have to be such.

Admission this season is/was $10.98 plus tax for ages 3-9. & $12.99 plus tax for ages 10 & above. This past weekend a hayride was included in the price. Normally it's a seperate charge @ $1.00. All US.

Aside from the main maze, there are several other mazes. A mini one, a rope maze, a miner max maze & a tile maze. There are areas for kids like the Noah's Ark playground. There's also a picnic area & there are usually animals on site, but since it's the end of the season they weren't there. Nov 13th is the last day the maze will be open from what I understand. It will be open from 10 to 6pm. Last ticket can be purchased at 5pm.

Since it is a maze it's best to have comfortable shoes. It was a bit muddy when we went from the melting snow we recently had. If you go towards the end of the season like we have. Dress in layers. It gets pretty chilly at the start, but once going through the maze you will warm up. We took about 2 hours to go through the maze. Depends on the people you're with. It could be done probably a little faster. If you want to go while the stalks are pretty green still go earlier in the season.

The farmers market has a variety of things inside & out. The apple cider is awesome. They have varies fruits & veggies you can purchase as well as baked goods & candies. It's a nice, fun outing.

Stony Hill Gardens & Farm Market is a lovely roadside bazaar that provides much more than you average fruit or vegetable stand. The quaint spot offers a petting zoo, corn maze, and fabulous gourmet shop. The store sells all kinds of local jams, sauces, and pastries. They also make their own hot apple cider and donuts. The cider is spicy and sweet, which adds the perfect flavor balance to the crispy, moist donuts. While they do not offer pumpkin picking on their grounds, the store sells a large variety in all sizes.

Stony Hill is definitely worth at least a quick stop and run through of the market.
