“Spicy!”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Excellent Szechuan cuisine. Even ordered "mild" it had delicious heat. Loved the tripe, mung bean noodles, salt & pepper shrimp, pea leaves, ... Every dish was great. No liquor license, byob. The ginger beer was excellent. Restaurant is very clean with nice decor. Staff was extremely well trained and attentive.

“Could pass it a million times and NOT know what I am missing!”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

So after downloading an application on my Iphone I learned of this restaurant in Philly that local chefs are going absolutely ape s@#$ about called Han Dynasty. My brother and I decide to check it out, and then find out there is one convienently close in Cherry Hill NJ, AWESOME! Let me say right now, Ive worked on route 70 for years, and would never have thought to try this place because on the outside it looks like a regular Chinese restaurant. I have probably passed this place a million times...crazy. Anyway, I digress, as I was saying, we decided to give it a shot. One o'clock in the afternoon and it is empty....great! We like eating in an empty dining room anyway (that's in no way sarcastic. It is seriously how we get down. We walk in and it looks as though we walked into some chef based La Cosa Nostra meeting, everyone looked pissed... I think we disrupted lunch on happy fun day. Was not a good impression. Then we sat down and talked to our server...who was the man. We ordered a few cans of Chinese juices and mixed us up some drinks which were amazing! Then had some don don noodles, sesame oil dumplings, spicy pork and dry spicy chicken. Now, the chicken was great! Tripple flash fried and mixed with fried chillies. The only problem was the chillies were overtaking the plate, MORE CHICKEN LESS CHILLIES! Overall it was unbelievably good! We will be returning soon!

“Do NOT drive by....”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Located in a small strip mall on Route 70, it is easy to miss Han Dynasty, but don't drive by (it's a few store fronts before Gary's Gem Garden). Thought this is a classic Szechuan style restaurant, they will cook your dish to whatever "heat" you prefer, even if it is without heat. Don't miss the cold sesame noodles or the Three Cup Chicken. You will not be disappointed. Also, BYOB if you want alcoholic refreshment.

“Pretty consistent from the other Han Dynasty”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

The Cherry Hill Han Dynasty sits is a strip mall. It's fairly nice inside. The food was very good and seemed to be prepared pretty much like the Han Dynasty in Philadelphia. That's a good thing because the food is really good.
The service was pretty good as well. Pick from a selection of spicy (mild) to really spicy (yowza). Family style plates come to the table and we all dig in. I like that.

“Incredible Chinese meal served family style by excellent staff”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

Had shared the following: Dan Dan Noodles,Green Beans, Wantons in chili oil, hot pot , long hots with chicken. All paired well with Trimbach 2007 Alsace Riesling. The very best were the Dan Dan noodles not to be missed, Everything else was excellent but beware of the heat of the Spice. Your server will be helpful in guiding you.
