this used to be a fun place to go for a pint and a burger. Now it is sad. The staff is sad, the food is sad, the atmosphere is sad. There need some fresh upgrades here for sure

When we want a good hamburger and a beer or drink in a casual local bar, this is our go to place. Offers a good menu, but the Grasshopper hamburger with cheddar cheese, bacon and onions has always been good.

I have been going to the Grasshopper for lunch with a few friends several times a month for years. They have a fixed menu which also offers 10-12 specials daily and the food is plentiful and delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the service is very good.
I have been to the Grasshopper's sister restaurant in Wayne for dinner and found the menu and the food has always been exceptional. This is a casual restaurant, so don't expect gourmet food, however it is a good variety and plentiful.
