We had the pleasure of staying in one of the Jacuzzi Suites at this motel.

The Good:
-Stunning room with beautiful finishes including leather chair and loveseat. The decor was modern and tasteful. The room was spacious and essentially joined two regular sized rooms together to make one suite.
-The walk in shower had jets from two sides and a rain shower head. It also had a bench along the back wall. The tile work was modern and sophisticated. It both looked and felt high end.
-The motel is walking distance to MetLife Stadium.
-The Jacuzzi was pleasant
-The king bed was comfortable
-The room was very clean.
-The staff was very helpful and did their best to communicate clearly.
-The room was well-priced. We have a CAA discount and the room came to $120.
-The underground parking is an added bonus in the winter.

The Bad:
-The complimentary breakfast in the great room is a little strange. I'm sure it is wonderful during the summer, but during the winter, the tents are an interesting (but likely necessary) choice.
-More than one waffle maker needs to be provided. It was congested and we actually gave up and had to return an hour later when it was close to closing.
-We did notice a very slight gap to the outside where two wall joints met. This would be very easy to repair. The temperature of the room was never cold.

Overall, we would highly recommend this motel's suites to anyone. We can't speak for every room, but our room was fantastic.

My god we have seen many hotels in NJ but this one was horrible. The whole area is really in very poor shape. The service in the reception area is very poor. Even the most basic questions like where is the bus stop and at what is the bus schedule seemed to be very annoying to the employee who was updating his Facebook page. The room is indeed clean but dark. The nightstands very unpractical and the control of the heating in an area that is very dark so bring your flashlight. The breakfast is the biggest joke. Bring your winter coat because they serve it a tent in their patio and there is no heating !! Also, to get to the bus stop you need to cross a 4 lane road that is extremely busy so you need to take considerable risk when crossing. Last but not least is the road noise. It feels like you are sleeping outside right next to the highway. We didn't have any sleep whatsoever.

There was a shortage of hotel rooms in mid-November when we had to attend a funeral and were able to get a reservation here.. I would not recommend this hotel. We paid extra for a non-smoking room, which reeked of smoke and were given a can of Lysol. The heating/air conditioning unit was missing the knob that turned on the heat. This was remedied by someone from housekeeping who grumbled about the maintenance man.
There is a long flight of stairs down to the parking garage--with bad lightingand it is hard to tell when you have reached the bottom.
It is very telling about the management when you are not asked when checking out "How was everything".

I stay 2 nights a week while working across the street. The hotel is clean and quiet and the staff are all very nice. Raj is great at the front desk, always pleasant.
Breakfast in the morning is a plus as there is really nothing nearby for a quick breakfast before work. Coffee, juices, muffins, bagels, waffles.
I would recommend it for anyone who is in the area for an event at the Meadowlands.

We got this place for 2 nights during the recent trips to NY. Boy, it was good. We had got the big room with the kitchenette and it was real big and clean with additional dining area as well. But the real surprise was the complete rainfall shower with all the extras. I seriously did not expect this from an econolodge !!!
Would certainly recommend this or non-game stays as well but the metlife stadium being very close certainly helps as well..
We got an late check-out on saturday ( till 2 PM), which was also totally cool. In short, i would strongly recommend this place for families.

Room Tip: Take the large room with the kitchenette if travelling as a family and call the hotel directly for r...

My wife and I stayed here since we did not want to travel back home after a Sunday Night game. The surrounding area is very industrial, there is a restaurant and a small strip mall about a block a way if you are staying here longer. The walk is a bit tricky as there are minimal lights so that can be a bit shady looking. There was a big police presence but I attribute it to the event going on at Metlife Stadium. There is also a shuttle that leaves from the restaurant to the stadium which was a big plus! So in the end, for games and events at Metlife, its a good place to stay! for trips into the city and longer stays, not sure..

Room Tip: "Rooms on the south side are quieter"
