Beautiful sights, very peaceful and relaxing, walking trails, yoga classes, and nature everywhere. Worth the trip.

The only thing to do here is climb the lighthouse. Everything in the park is free, except the $7 fee to climb the lighthouse. There is beach access, but no lifeguards on duty. There are also nature trails for walking or bird watching. I have never been down these trails because I fear I would become infested with tics and other unruly pests like mosquitos. At one time there was a small reptile house, but I am not sure if it is still there.

Two adults, two toddlers and up we went. The cost is $7.00 per adult and a little less for kids ages 3-12. (coupon for kids to climb free). The boys were ridiculously young to do this so….they were FREE.

There are exactly 217 stairs to the top and 199 of them are spiral! At the top you can see the whole island of Cape May and Cape May Point while you are safely encased in a red cage. The cage goes the full 360 around the lighthouse but it is not wide and you will be competing for space to take pictures with the ocean in the background. One of the last great natural beaches. Best in winter when less crowded. Great for bird sightings. A flawless sunset,

It's a nice park, we need to re-visit again soon. I like that you have to pay to get it because that seems to keep some of the riff-raff out. Nice bath house
