The Cape May zoo is a nice drive from Atlantic City. The zoo is very nicely laid out and the animals are close to you. they have all the familiar animals in very nice settings. The best part is it is free.

We were visiting from San Diego and, yes, we have a great zoo, but I must say, this was a very pleasant pleasant surprise for us. The grounds cared for very well. There are very nice board-walks through a wooded area. animals look good.. healthy and beautiful. There is a great variety of animals.

I would suggest that if animals are off-exhibit, that a sign be posted such. There is an occasional sign (inconsistent) but you waste a lot of time searching and searching for an animal when it is not there. that is irritating. More food or at least a little patio restaurant is suggested.

The park/zoo is free but there is a contribution collector at the entry gate at parking. There is a children's park just outside the entrance. It is very feasible for a family to bring their kids to play on equipment and have a little picnic there. But you would probably have to bring your own food because I don't think there's any restaurant there... even at the zoo.

It was a beautiful day and a beautiful visit and I think the checkout clerk at the Shoprite for recommending it. The people of New Jersey have been so very friendly, nice and helpful. They are very pleased that we really enjoyed coming to New Jersey there is so much to offer here.

I can't believe it's free! So many great animals and you just need to give a donation to keep the zoo working! The animals are so close to you and the access around the zoo is so easy to follow! In my opinion it's even better than Bronx Zoo

We've been to this zoo many times over the years and we have a great time every time we go. This is a free zoo that exists on donations so please make sure to make a donation upon your entrance. We love the fact that the zoo has a lot of ground for the animals and the exhibits are always well maintained. On this visit we were happy to see the latest additions to the animal population. There is a baby bison, a baby giraffe and baby snow leopards. We highly recommend this zoo for people of all ages. For the youngsters there are playgrounds and a picnic area before entering the zoo.

The zoo was set in a natural setting with raised board walks throughout. It provided a good view of the animals. The information posters for each animal were very informational. This is a great family place and I would recommend taking the time to visit.
