The zoo was very clean and well-maintained. We didn't really smell the animals at all (until we got to the zebras lol). I felt like we were walking through the jungle, instead of seeing the animals in captivity, as is the case when I visit other zoos. There were all kinds of animals -- bears, zebras, giraffes, peacocks -- the list goes on and on. For a small zoo, there was still a lot to see. It took us about 2 hours to get through the entire zoo, but well worth the time.

Really nice for families with smaller children...they'll love seeing the animals and feeding the goats.

Plus, it's free...they just ask for a donation, which I was more than happy to do since the zoo was so great.

My husband and I visited Cape May Zoo it is fantastic for all ages. We went in May, it was a beautiful day. It takes a couple of hours to see everything. They have birds, reptiles, africa section, every imaginable animal. They even have peacocks that wonder throughout the zoo freely. It is only a donation to gain admitance. Their is a picnic area and also a gift shop. Inside the zoo they also sell food in designated areas. It a great place to visit with kids of all ages even adults find it interesting. A must see if you are in the area.
