We spent Christmas weekend there. We have stayed in Cape May several times, usually over Thanksgiving weekend, which, we prefer. But, this is our first time at the Virginia hotel. It didn't disappoint.
What a charming hotel, with lovely spacious rooms. The only drawback are the baths, which need updating. There was little counter space for our toiletrees. One sink. Double sinks would be nice.
We were on the third floor and it was quiet with a very comfortable bed. Each moring we enjoyed continental breakfast brought to our room. It was hardly sparse. Yogurt, fruit, breads, juice and pot of coffee. The fireplace in the main salon area was constantly burning. Very cozy. Also, enjoyed the other sitting areas on either side of the main living area. Free
valet parking is a bonus.
The Ebbit room (within the hotel) is outstanding. We have eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. We are foodies and well traveled. There is a reason the restaurant continues to receive numorous accolades year after year. We enjoyed their bar area as well.
The staff were topnotch, as well. We will return, again!
