Had the wonderful opportunity to spend a couple of days here and cannot wait to go back! The room, Hampton Court, was absolutely beautful - complete with gas fireplace and antique furniture! The food each morning was the most delicious I've ever tasted (you can purchase their cookbook!) and was only made better by Anna Marie's (she and her husband, Doug, are the innkeepers) warm spirit! Everyone with whom we came into contact was just so nice....the place is gorgeous and couldn't be in a better spot - the heart of Cape May. Whether it's a special occasion or just a girls getaway, you will want to put the Queen Victoria on your list!

I have stayed there before, it was the first time for my sister. It is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast and I would highly recommend it. Each morning we had a delicious home cooked breakfast. In the afternoon we enjoyed tea on the porch..from 4-5:30. Very relaxing, a short walk to the beach and shops. We are planning our return trip. And yes, they have bikes for their guests to use, which we did!!

Room Tip: We have stayed in several of the rooms!! Very nice, turn down service and chocolate on your pillow...

One dreams of peaceful, effortless get-aways by the seaside. Normally, the effort is in remembering to pack so many things. With the Queen Victoria, the innkeepers have done much of the thinking. Want to ride a bike? Bicycles are provided. Want to go to the beach? Towels and chairs are available. Want to sit and read? Books are available, magazines abound, and the daily papers are there to read over breakfast. Want high speed internet, or just prefer a rocking chair. Both are provided. The houses are beautifully and tastefully decorated appropriate for the period. The breakfast and afternoon tea are delicious. In late morning, you smell the baking for the afternoon tea. Anne Marie and Doug are straightforward, efficient and always there to be helpful. We will be back!

Every time we stay at the Queen Victoria we are once again reminded how special it is. It is the "Queen" of B and B's! It all begins with the wonderful owners, Anna Marie and Doug. They make you feel at home right away. This friendliness and professionalism extends to their entire staff .
On their website you can check out the rooms-we have stayed in at least 6 different rooms on our visits and liked them all.
The location of the Queen Victoria is wonderful. The beach is a block away and the shopping area is only 2 blocks away. We love the fact that we can park our car when we arrive and don't have to get in it until we are ready to leave. A fine selection of restaurants are also within walking distance. However, you may find that you don't need to eat out as much as you might otherwise because of the breakfast and the afternoon tea which are hallmarks of the Queen Victoria. Breakfast is buffet style with an abundance of choices to please everyone's palate. the afternoon tea which is held on the porch in the summer is such a lovely affair. there are sweets and savories and a choice of teas or iced tea(in warmer weather). in the cooler months tea is served in one of the dining rooms. Breakfast and tea provide an opportunity to meet the other guests and engage in lively conversations.
I really hope ,if you get a chance to visit Cape May, that you will try the Queen Victoria. you will not be disappointed , and I think after you visit you'll say the Queen Victoria is simply the best.

We stayed in Cape May for the very first time this past Memorial Day weekend and were so very impressed with the Queen Victoria for many reasons. It's a beautifully appointed inn with wonderfully helpful hosts. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and tasteful and breakfast every morning was delicious! There were dozens of brand new cruiser bikes available to borrow everyday and I'd highly recommend a leisurely bike tour of this marvelous and eye-catching shore town. There were also lots of beach chairs available for a short two-block trip to the ocean. There were also complimentary beverages (soft drinks, water, coffee) and treats available throughout the inn 24 hours a day and free wifi throughout. EVERYTHING in Cape May is an easy walk from the Queen Victoria...great restaurants, bars, etc. There is no doubt in my mind we'll be back...sooner rather than later.

We went to The Queen Victoria in April for spring break with four people. We stayed in the quaint little cottage next door ( The Crowned Jewel) it was wonderful! Breakfast was not only delicious but was served by the managers them selves! I was wowed! Everyone was friendly and helpful. It just was very relaxing ( exactly what a Cape May B&B should be) I would recommend this for a romantic get away, girls weekend, or anything else!
