My wife & I have had several great visits to Martini Beach over the past few years during our summer sojourns to Cape May. We've enjoyed the dining, especially on the enclosed front porch with a great view of the ocean, and we've really enjoyed the entertainment, from fine jazz bands, to karaoke, to dancing. It's been one of our 'must do' places in town, & always seems popular, so we're a bit surprised that it appears to be changing 'venues'.
It's web-site now displays an image of the ocean, & states: "M'OCEAN...Coastal Cuisine and Raw Bar..Coming May, 2014". I assume that the changes will be a shift in the menu from tapas to seafood, and possibly a new interior look. It sounds interesting, but we're hoping that management still keeps the entertainment venues which we always looked forward to.
Maybe "M' OCEAN" will be "MO' BETTER"!

Thank you for your interest in our new establishment, M'Ocean! We have updated the interior with a new bright and cheerful look. Our menu is based off of a coastal cuisine which currently includes: 6 appetizers, 6 salads, and 6 entrees - this is subject to change. We have also installed a raw bar which currently includes: shrimp/crab cocktails, red snapper ceviche, 7 types of oysters, and cherry stone clams on the half shell - once again, subject to change. As of now we do not have live entertainment; however as the season progresses we are deciding on what type of live entertainment (duo/guitarist/pianist) to do for our Saturday and Sunday brunches. We look forward to having you dine with us!!

We called ahead for reservations and got a seat along the windows on the enclosed deck, which was perfect. The service was very good. I started with the roasted beet salad, which was amazing!! I then had the roast chicken as my entre, which was good. My husband had the Turkish Pizza and Sea Scallops tapas. The pizza was different and a little over-done, but he very much enjoyed the scallops. Overall, it was a very good experience. We'll definitely go back!

Martini Beach was the highlight of our stay in Cape May! The porch tables offer a stunning view of the beach- ask to be seated there when you make your reservations. Our server, Tisha, was not only attentive and professional but also a fun and happy person. By the end of our meal, we were talking like old friends- highly recommend asking for her. The martinis are delicious. Between the two of us, we went through 6- each one better than the last. The dark and stormy was beyond yummy. We shared tapas for our meal. With tisha's recommendations, we chose 5 great dishes! The crab fritters and the sushi pizza were amazing. The lobster mac and cheese was rich but not overpowering, so good! Save room for dessert because the chocolate creme brûlée is the perfect way to end a fantastic dining experience. Definitely make this spot a priority for your vacation!

Sampler of appetizers is the way to go. A little pricey but well worth the cost - especially when you throw in ocean view while dining.

The tapas were good, could have used a little more spice (not heat but spice...the lamb/beef pizza needed a touch more). The martinis, though, were great...and I don't like vodka at all.
