Great food with a wonderful view of the beach and Atlantic ocean! Was worth waiting for a table because the bartenders were awesome - best martini ever!

Warm pleasurable experience. Martinis are killer. Master chef John's cuisine is masterful. Delicious tapas. Great service staff. Loved the playpen for the managements adorable daughter....youngest restaurant manager with a great smile. Just a good relaxing time for those looking to getaway, unwind and enjoy people watching and killer sunsets. Highly highly recommended!

Had an 8 pm reservation and were seated at 8:30 or later. The porch was romantic with live jazz playing. The martinis were expensive, but good. The corn bisque with crab soup was Delicious. We shared several tapas. They say 2-3 tapas per person. My husband and I had a total of four- which was too much with the soup. I would recommend the scallops. They were fabulous. The lobster Mac and cheese was tasty, too. We were told by the waitress that the kitchen was backed up.. We waited a long time for our food and it came out in batches. The last two tapas took forever. Leave the kids at home and dress nice casual. It is part of the experience.

My husband and I tend to choose restaurants that focus on wine, martinis, and tapas and Martini Beach did not disappoint. After having tapas at city restaurants we were appreciative of the larger portions. Since tapas are typical small bites, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and portion size. We enjoyed our experience so much that first night that we went back a second night...Keep in mind..we only spent two evenings in Cape May. Bart, the bar tender was fantastic. His martinis top any in Philadelphia and even New York. The Angeltini and Elderflower Tea were excellent. I also enjoyed the Dark and Stormy!
We hope to visit again before the summer season is over!

We selected Martini Beach for the seating view. We booked a reservation for 3 for 5:30 pm on the front porch. We subsequently called to add 3 more persons and still requested the porch. We were told "we will try.". We arrived and were told no porch even though only one table was occupied out there. We requested to sit at 2 distinct tables. We were told they would put 2 tables together if we left by 6:30 pm. That did not feel welcoming. We acquiesced and were seated in the main dining room in front of the piano. A player began entertaining 10 minutes later, quite loudly, and made our dinner conversation all but impossible. We ordered Tapas. The portions were sparse, the costs rather pricey and the food nothing memorable. We left at 6:45 pm at which time there remained several vacant tables on the front porch. I spoke to the "owner" about my disappointment with the seating circumstances. She was brusque in my opinion rude. I found no customer satisfaction focus. If you want a restaurant experience with an ocean view, support a restaurant that cares and go somewhere else.
