One of the wineries recommended this place. Was the best meal of the weekend. Fries are really thin and crispy - delicious. Would go back again...

We ate here in the middle of the week, partaking of their very early bird (pre-five o'clock) special---10 oz. rib-eye steak for $13, a pretty good deal, wouldn't you say? I would. The steak was very flavorful, though a wee bit grisly. The fries were great--crispy and non-greasy. We added some mussels, and while they were OK, we prefer the white garlic sauce to the red sauce which they came with. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she said that could have been arranged, although no mention was made of this possibility on the menu. Beer was a honey porter from the local Cape May Brewing Company, an outfit which definitely knows what it's doing.
Lucky Bones is a very popular local hangout, which is always crowded, even in the off-season. During tourist season, forget it; you can't even get into the parking lot. The decor is rustic, yet semi-nautical; everything pulls together in a very pleasant way. All in all, a much recommended place!

I recently visited Cape May for the first time and ate at Lucky Bones on our way in. It was the late night menu and we enjoyed it so much that we went back again for lunch before we left. I think our waitresses name was Jocelyn on the first night and she was super sweet. It seems like the locals love Lucky Bones and we did too. We will return on our next trip to Cape May.
