Owner description: Bay Springs Farm is a preserved working farm situated on what was the last Dairy Farm in Cape May County. Today it is the site of the largest alpaca farm in the County with more than 26 alpacas in a wide range of colors. We specialize in breeding black and gray and colored huacaya alpacas. All our alpacas sell with full guarantees and service support, plus free boarding for 6 months.. We carry all types of alpaca yarn, fleece and finished products--sweaters, throws, socks and scarves--in our farm store. We are open to the public every Sat. & Sun. from 10-4 or at other times by appointment.

Wife's an animal lover, and thought she would enjoy this farm. She did! Animals were cute and friendly, and the people there were very nice and knowledgeable.

These gracious people take incredible care of their alpacas and property. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. You are a guest in their home, so remember to be polite. I live here, and it is a little trip that makes me smile every time.

Summer seems to make the Alpacas disappear to the back 40. The farm seemed to be more a showroom for yarns and product sales. A place to cool off and spend time is nice in summer for adults not children. Seemed to be a "gentlemen's farm."

THe bay Springs Farm is home to many sweet natured alpacas. The kids with will love visiting these gentle creatures and you will enjoy browsing through the shop selling all things made from alpaca wool includung the warmest socks and mittens that can be found. The hosts are very knowledgeable and are care takers of alpacas from owners all over the Cape May area.
