We had the pleasure of spending a girl's getaway recently at Elaine's and can't say enough good things about it ! The rooms are large and beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, and our bathrooms were spotless and well lit. The staff was wonderful and made us feel at home. We loved gathering in the sun room in the evening and the wrap around porch with an abundance of rocking chairs was a great place to relax. The location is perfect with shopping, restaurants and the beach all a short walk away, and a huge bonus was the on site parking with reserved spots.
The breakfast consisted of anything and everything you could think of and was prepared perfectly! From the freshest of fruit to the fabulous Bananas Foster, omelets, and the fluffiest pancakes ever, all made to order from their extensive menu, it has to be the best breakfast in Cape May!

We all agreed that we couldn't think of one negative thing about our stay and we can't imagine ever staying anywhere else in Cape May. This place has it all! They haven't neglected a thing!
We're planning our return trip next year (if we can wait that long!) and can't wait to go back!

This place is simply wonderful. We have stayed four times now and keep going back. Our last trip was May 2014 for a "Ghost hunter's weekend" special event, which was lots of fun. We have stayed for Murder Mystery weekends and when there is no special event. The place is great. The owners and staff are always friendly and happy to help. The breakfasts are incredible and the benefit of a nice bar in the Inn is special. Room 4, with its private balcony, is the best. Room 7 and 9 are others where we have stayed.

Room Tip: Pick Room 4, its pricey but worth it.

We stayed in room #6 ( The Mint Julep Room) the weekend of The Kentucky Derby Party. The staff was friendly. Our room was clean and the decor was charming. We could walk to dozens of restaurants, bars and shops. You can't beat the location. It is a 5 minute cab ride to The Willow Creek Winery. The Kentucky Derby Party was fun! There was live music, great food on the porch, specialty cocktails, big hats and large screen tv to watch the race. It was a delightful crowd. We really enjoyed it! There's a fun bar in the lobby and our room was quiet and peaceful. It was the best of everything! The Bananas foster French toast was delicious in the morning. We highly recommend Elaine's!

Room Tip: (No swimming pool or fitness center) beach nearby. Their website has detailed photos and description...

We have stayed at Elaine's more than once, and each time we love it more. The staff and owners are amazing people. The service is impeccable. This hotel is only about 2 blocks from the center of town, and only a little farther to the beach. The theatre is a fun experience and the food is very good. We will be planning another trip to Elaine's in the near future. Thank you for the amazing experience

My husband and I have loved our stays at Elaines. Everything was great, not only for the cozy room, but for the hospitality. This is a great get away to relax and to refresh. Looking forward to another weeks stay this year. Plan to share this trip with family and friends. Jim and Deb :-)
