Beautiful ocean, great vibe, not too crowded, nice promenade, clean and well-kept, soft sand, very nice that business renting umbrellas leaves them up for afternoon visits without charging

We've been coming to Cape May for over 25 years. The beaches simply can't be beat. There's ample space; the sand is clean (and cleaned nightly); and you typically get the twice (or more) "dolphin show" as groups of dolphins move up and down the beach. The guards are attentive and conservative. It's a great place for families, with good surf. Purchased beach tags are a requirement - but well worth it. Bring your own beach gear or rent on the beach. The beaches are some of the best around, and located in one of my favorite towns on the planet!

Cleanest beaches I've ever seen. Soft sand, lots of shells to hunt. Not so great that you have to buy Beach Tags, $7 a day, but worth it!

The beaches might get crowded, but you never know it. The water is inviting. Watching the dolphins is a great addition to the afternoon.
