It may be small but it is intimate and special! Make reservations ahead of time so you get in.
Their food is better each time. Their specials are always incredible! The fried oysters are the best I have ever had!!! Portions are more than adequate. Most of their apps are mouthwatering. It's a must go to place when in town. Service is very good. We have had Katherine several times and she is always pleasant and sweet! She helps make the experience. To the Chef... Thank you for so many wonderful meals! I always look forward to my summers in Cape May for fun, time with friends and family and good food!! Bon Appetite!! Enjoy

Incredible fish and crab cakes!! It's a BYOB and since nice sides and a salad come with the meal, it is reasonably priced. We LOVED our dinner and our server was outstanding.

This restaurant is definitely on the small side with tables fairly close to one another. This would tend to limit it as a venue for larger parties and if you are looking for some privacy it might not be best. Like many places in Cape May it can be on the expensive side. We started with an appetizer of coconut sweet potato encrusted scallops that was $13 for three large scallops. The entrees we had were pastas and mine was a shrimp and scallop pesto and my wife had a scallop and mushroom dish. We both thought they were excellent as they were well prepared and seasoned. The price for each of them was about $25 and they did include a small salad. The portion size was adequate but not large. We looked at the specials menu and there were no prices on it. We discovered the price of a halibut special was $37.

Like many places in New Jersey this establishment is BYOB and they cheerfully open your wine and provide glasses and something to cool it if needed. The service overall was good and we had no complaints.

Very enjoyable experience. Limited space so you need reservations. Crab cakes were fabulous served over mashed potatoes ! Dessert selection great. Totally recommend this BYOB

Large as life gourmet in a waaaaayyyy too small space. Tables are practically on top of each other. One person in our party had to get up so someone at the next table could get out to use the restroom WHICH IS OUTSIDE THE RESTAURANT! You are handed a key to walk around to the back of the building. What?!?! At $35 a plate I would anticipate an inside lavatory at least. Even servers can barely move. No one can speak without unintentional eavesdropping. Table-top space is inadequate too.
Now with all that said; this was by far THE BEST fare in town. Delicious food with numerous and incredible specials nightly like sausage stuffed pork loin served in a pastry puff with an apple/raisin/banana glaze served over garlic mashed potatoes and my favorite sesame tuna served with unique slaw and dirty rice. The appetizers were equally impressive. Thank goodness we saved room for the BEST praline dessert I have ever eaten.
If only tiny tables weren't sandwiched on top of one another this restaurant would be perfect. It bears repeating: FABULOUS food. Great service. If only the atmosphere matched.
FYI......BYOB (but remember the bottle and glasses are bound to take up table space too limited to sacrifice)
