“Breakfast”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

It was a good spot to eat. I sat out on the porch, though it was protected from the elements. It was cozy and the food was not spectacular. The grapefruit juice was good. I liked the view of the Victorian homes across the street and it was close to my hotel.

“Lovely meal next door to the Virginia Hotel”

We enjoyed our Sunday dinner with a 40% discounted TravelZoo certificate we pre-purchased online. The service was very friendly as well. We have been told that they also serve delicious breakfasts.

“Great Food”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

We have been here several times, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food has always been very good. Service is great. A little pricey but worth it even if you do it just once.

“Awesome Breakfast!!!”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast five days at the Mad Batter on Jackson Street in Cape May. We tasted light and fluffy blueberry pancakes, scrumptious vanilla malted waffle, tasty bacon and eggs, and fresh fruit bowl. Other good choices include orange / almond French toast and a delcious almond / honey / raisin granola with yogurt and fresh fruit. The big, comfortable front porch and the lovely garden room were both inviting choices to relax and enjoy the great food.
