“great dinner”
Reviewed May 2, 2014

Great food and wonderful staff. On a Saturday nite we had to wait about 1 hr. but so worth it. Friday nite we didn't have to wait at all. The lobster bisque soup was lite and creamy.

“overpriced for what you get. just ok service”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

this place is definitely overpriced for what you end up getting. I ordered the Alaskan king crab at 42$. I asked the waiter how many pounds do I get, he answered you get 1 to 1 and a half pounds which is either three or four legs. surprise he didn't tell the truth, when I got it was only two legs, then I asked him again, and he said its just under a pound! hmm change of stories. the crab was over cooked and gummy, no taste. the butter finished very quickly. oh ya I forgot, for dessert with this dish I was served applesauce! im not a 5 year old kid! and the salad at the beginning was so small. I completely understand that it is king crab but this is way too overpriced. I believe that I should get it cooked properly if I get such a small portion, I ate so much bread because the portion was ridiculous. others at the table had different dishes some of which were totally inedible like the chicken dish! other salad dressings taste horrible too! we were definitely not satisfied at allù1

“Sit on the deck”
Reviewed April 28, 2014 via mobile

Wonderful meal, wonderful location. My friend and I ordered broiled scallops and broiled stuffed shrimp. Both came with fresh cooked fries as well as some really good cole slaw. Sitting outside on the deck with a Bloody Mary from the bar- life is good!

“If you like seafood this is the place for you”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

The Lobster House is right on the water at the base of the Cape May bridge; exit zero on the parkway. This is the place to go if you like seafood. The seafood is fresh each day. There are also land lover choices on the menu for those who prefer steak or chicken. The chicken francaise is a favorite of mine. The spinach salad is also very good. The Lobster House offers a sit down restaurant, dock side seating, an outdoor raw bar, take out, cafe or dining on the schnooer. Lots of choices to pick from to meet your desired dining experience . Or you can visit the fresh fish market and pick up seafood to cook at home. Weekends are usually very busy in the summer. Your meals are served with delicious onion poppy seed bread; the best! They have a full service bar along with plenty of desserts to finish off your meal. Prices are about average for the area. The view makes it special. Ask for a window seat and try to arrive early to enjoy the sunset.

“O MY GOD GOOD”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

The Restaurant is good but the best is to use the take-out menu and go out back to the docks(there are tables). If you go in the middle of the day the boats are getting back from a hard day of fishing, they close part of the dock to move the seafood, the kids will have fun watching. the fried food is not greasy at all? but very light. The bread is fresh, the soups are smooth tasting. The locals know about this place so that is why you need to go in the middle of the day. Please enjoy
