We spent a night at the Peter Shields Inn in March 2012. It is off-season in Cape May, so we figured that we would eat at the Inn. What a good decision!
The meal was really wonderful: the first courses (oysters and a seasonal green salad) were perfectly prepared and nicely presented. Our entrees (salmon and short ribs agnolotti were delicious. And to top it all, the desserts ( cinnamon creme brulee and sticky date pudding with vanilla ice cream) was a fabulous finish. Attentive and pleasant service.
The restaurant is BYOB, so don't forget to bring your own wine.
