My wife and I stayed 4 wonderful days at the Albert Stevens Inn. Jim and Lenanne were great hosts who were the perfect balance of personable , knowledgable hosts and professional innkeepers. The Inn breakfasts, bikes, location, room, "Italian" Sangria and other goodies at teatime and the Inn itself were all of the highest quality. The West Cape May location is close to the restaurants and shops in downtown Cape may, and great beaches It is also a great starting point for bike rides the Sunset beach, Cape May Point (the lighthouse) , Higbee Beach and the wineries of Cape May (we really recommend Turdo vineyards --a short drive from the Inn for great wine.) We've stayed at a range of B & B's in Cape May over the years. Simply put--Jimmy and Lenanne's Albert Stevens Inn is one of the best and we loved our stay there and look forward to returning.

We spent the weekend with Jim and Lenanne, staying in the Tower room. The hotel is very slightly outside of the center of town - but only a couple of blocks. The place is wonderful; the hospitality was great, from "tea" at 5pm; breakfast at 9am (a nice civilized hour!!). Bikes on site, towels and other amenities are added unexpected pleasures.

Just a comment on the tower room. The room is up a short - but steep flight of stairs. But it is worth it. The room is spacious, and there is an alcove with a 2nd bed.

Back to our Hosts - Jim and Lenanne. They were most warm, and very helpful with all kinds of suggestions. We even ran into Jim at the restaurant dinner Saturday night.

We have loved each of our stays at Cape May, and would enthusiastically recommend the Albert Stevens Inn.
