“Home away from home in Cape May”

My mother and I just returned from a three-night stay at the Albert Stevens, and we couldn't have been more pleased! Innkeepers Jim and Lenanne are so gracious; from the moment we arrived we felt right at home.

The entire inn is beautifully furnished with period furniture. At the same time, there are all the necessary modern conveniences. What you see on their website is exactly what you get, which is not always true for other b&b's and hotels!

My mother and I had separate rooms. Each one was spotless, clean-smelling, and beautifully furnished. The breakfasts and teas were absolutely delicious and Lenanne had a nicely varied menu.

There is a 24-hour tea and coffee bar which we took advantage of, and there is always red wine and sherry available in the beautiful dining room.

Jim is a very active fellow who takes meticulous care of the inn. We were amazed at his energy level!

The inn is located a short walk away from the pedestrian mall in a quieter part of town. This makes for easy parking and quiet nights.

We hope to visit Cape May again soon, and will definitely stay at the Albert Stevens.

We had a wonderful 25th anniversary getaway at the Albert Stevens Inn. Jim and Lenanne were the perfect hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed. Jim made dinner reservations for us. It was our first time visiting Cape May and Jim and Lenanne were great in giving us directions and advice on what to see and do. Lenanne's breakfasts were awesome. We also loved the afternoon sweets and Sangria. We will definitely go back to the Inn. We LOVED Cape May and the Albert Stevens Inn. We thank Jim and Lenanne for their part in making our anniversary so special.

I just returned from a one-night stay with my husband. We stayed in the "Bessie" room. The room was so comfortable, the decor was lovely, and we loved the details: iPod dock, flat screen TV, plush robes, brand new tile bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. The afternoon wine and cheese was great - and the breakfast was delicious. The innkeepers were so friendly. We were able to walk easily to everything in town. We will be back!

By far the best place to stay in Cape May. The innkeepers are very hospitable and accomodating. Great breakfast and afternoon tea and cookies are worth coming back for. Love it.

My wife and I just stayed here and had a very nice time. The house has a true Victorian B&B feel, but our room was filled with modern conveniences. Afternoon tea featured terrific sangria and delicious cookies! Breakfast was also delicious! Location was not far from the beaches or other Cape May sites.

My wife and I spent a three day weekend in Cape May to celebrate her birthday. It was the first time that either of us has been to Cape May. We truly had a most wonderful time and experience. There are so many things to do and all are in close proximity to each other. Cape May is a beautiful town and has much to offer.

I researched for a place to stay mainly by using TripAdvisor. As we saw during our visit, there are many wonderful B&B’s in Cape May. However, after staying at the Albert Stevens Inn, we have no reason to look elsewhere. The Innkeepers Jim and Lenanne have a beautiful home and a fantastic staff. Our room was warm, inviting, and spotless. I don’t know how long Jim and Leanne have been in the B&B business, but they certainly know what they are doing. Upon our arrival, Jim was able to secure dinner reservations for us at a very nice restaurant (The Black Duck) that was only a block or two away. Jim also had many useful tips for us as we planned our activities during our stay. Leanne’s reputation as a fine chef is well deserved. We started our days with an appetizing and filling breakfast.

The Albert Stevens Inn is an exceptional place to stay in an outstanding resort community. We are looking forward to the time when we can stay at the Albert Stevens Inn the next time that we are able to visit Cape May.

What an enjoyable stay with Jim and Lenanne!! We wished we were staying longer and would definitely stay again. We would have no hesitation in recommending this B and B to family and friends.
Wonderful breakfasts and afternoon goodies...oh, those breakfast cakes in the morning and cookies in the late afternoon.
Everything is neat, clean and organized. The Inn is a step into
Victoriana and quite lovely. I swear that there are at least 6 Jims.
He is great at meeting everyone's needs and making them comfortable. You wonder how he knows what you want before you do. He is also very knowledgeable about the area. Thank you, Jim and Lenanne.
