We have been eating there every year for the past 5 or 6 when they first opened up. In the beginning, they cared about quality & cooking the food to order & therefore serving it hot. This year we ordered steamed clams for an appetizer, & then lobsters for the main course (as we do each year). We did not get the clams first, instead they brought them out with the lobster. You need to eat clams when they are hot, & of course, the lobster should have been hot & brought out after we ate the clams. We sent the clams back because they were cold as was the lobster, but due to the length of time it takes to eat lobster, we did not ask for another order or either one. When we complained about the clams being cold, we were told they were "cooked with the lobster" & yet neither order was the least bit warm. We were very disappointed as we knew what they are capable of in the past. My husband complained when we left & talked to the owner & told her they need more quality control & cooks that should give you your food immediately after being cooked. She offered not excuses. They are getting too busy with takeout & not doing enough for the people who come there to eat. Another reviewer said they supply side dishes & soda, etc. but they do not supply it you have to pay for everything. We are sorry to see the original owners losing a hands on approach, & hope they will try to improve their service to what it was before. We would however, be hesitent to go back.
