I was a little concerned when we pulled up because it looked like a fairly run down, mid-priced hotel. But once inside, you can tell someone's putting money into it and bringing it back. SeaSalt was beautiful with great views. The service was wonderful and the food was amazingly good. We shared an appetizer of calimari. It was extremely tender with lots of flavor. My husband had the red snapper. He thought the portion was small and a bit dry. But his English pea risotto was REALLY yummy! I had the skate fish. It was light with all kinds of flavor, really good! My sister had their scallops. We all got to try since she got so many. They just melted in your mouth! My only complaint is that we went too early (6:30PM) for the beach crowd. It started filling up as we left!

We heard about this place from the locals - good restaurant at the new Ocean Club on Beach Ave. Had reservations for 6:30 on a Monday night - got there early and had our choice of seats on the deck. The wait staff was very attentive, explained all of the menu listings and specials, knew the particulars of their special drinks, and handled everything quickly. The wife had the salmon special, I opted for the steak, and we got the cauliflower side dish to split - everything tasted wonderful, including the two apps we selected as well. Their wines by the glass were reasonably priced based on their location. If you're staying in Cape May proper, it's a bit of a walk but not unmanageable - the walk back to town will help digest the food! We'd definitely go again.

Delicious food, but it was a bit pricey. Server was very accommodating to our various needs, though he was a bit too friendly with us (talkative). A couple of us were allowed to order from the pool menu and eat here with the rest of our group!

The food was very goood, but the service is terrrible. Went twice for breakfast and the only reason I came back the second time was for the baked eggs with spinach and cheese. At least the first day the server was very pleasant so the delays and errors were ok; but the second time the server was VERY unpleasant; I had to ask 3 different people 3 times for water and cutlery; there were errors with the order. Come on, this is breakfast! But the food is really good so kudos to the chef.

Last week we tried to have dinner here. It was a mistake. We were a party of 8, including a baby and two 4-year-olds.It took almost an hour to get the drinks to our table. It took another 40 minutes to get the food on the table. The place was practically empty, yet the Hostess, who crisply reminded me of her title, stated how busy they were and made no apologies for the slow service. Someone insisted on clearing our butter dishes, literally leaving us holding our silverware. In all fairness, most of us did enjoy the food once it arrived, although the description of the BBQ ribs on the menu did not prepare me for how spicy they were. And our server did try his best to be cheerful under the circumstances. Management needs to realize they do not have the only show in town if they expect to get repeat customers.
