We had a hard time finding a place to eat lunch in cape may after 2pm during off season. This place is on the main pedestrian walking area and had friendly hostess standing outside encouraging us to come in. Food was decent. Clam chowder and crab cakes were fine. Not sure I would go again unless all else was closed....

Fish Market is located on Washington Mall, which is a great location. The food was good but not amazing.

Happened upon this restaurant while walking along the Washington Street Mall looking for a lunch spot. We were enticed by a free sampling of crab cake that was terrific, and we were not disappointed!

The service was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Prices were not bad for the area. Outdoor seating is available for people-watching and some fresh air.

The food was outstanding. The raw oysters were great. The broiled crab cake sandwich and lobster roll were truly outstanding. They tasted incredibly fresh and were perfectly flavored. They were delicious! We additionally had a free sample of New England clam chowder that was quite good (and milky, in a good way).

Only negative was the rather quick delivery of the check as we were finishing up our food. No offer of dessert or coffee. I am sure if we asked, we could have gotten some, but it would have been nice if the waiter had asked beforehand. We were content with the meal, though, so promptly paid the bill. Around 1 PM, this restaurant started to get very busy and crowded (we got there around noon, right before the rush).

I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a casual and delicious seafood lunch on the Washington Street Mall in Cape May that won't break the bank.

Broiled flounder was delicious. A nice size portion.

Konstintine the waiter served us last year. We missed the crab man this time.

Most importantly, we enjoy the seafood entrees. They are not pricey.
