Owner description: We are a horse-drawn carriage company. We provide guided tours through Historic district of Cape May.We would like to fully explain why we do not accept credit cards. We are located at the corner of Ocean and Washington St. we have a small unprotected mobile table that has no power,no phone and no protection from the weather. We cannot get a phone jack which is needed to take credit cards because we do not have a store front.Cape May is an island with terrible satellite and cell reception therefore the mobile credit card devices also do not help us.There are other very expensive mobile devices that are weather sensitive and do to the fact that we have no protection from the elements ,that is not an option either. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause to some .There is an ATM located directly behind where we are parked. We hope that you enjoy the horse and carriages and the joy, and beauty they bring to the hundreds of people who ride each year.

We had an amazing time on this. Guide told us a lot about the historical houses. Blankets for our cool night were provided. Great half hour!

Ah those blankets are a hit all year.It does get damp in the summer, the blanket feels good as you are driven through town.We always keep the comfort of our passengers in mind and blankets are the number one item asked for. Thanks for the nice review, glad you enjoyed yourselves.

My husband and i went to the little table and paid for our tour and were told to come back in 40 minutes in order to be 10 minutes early for our ride, and since the shopping is right there we had no problem amusing ourselves with coffee and ice cream and browsing for that amount of time. The weather was perfect our carriage was clean and so was the little girl driving it . Her voice was clear and could hear her well . We fell in love with cape may as we took our horse and buggy ride and admitted to each other that this was the best one we have ever been on! No busy traffic on the streets, in fact hardly any it was truly as if we had stepped back in time. I kept waiting to see some topcoats and ball gowns coming in or out of the many immaculate victorian homes we were being told about . When visiting cape may this is a must!

If you are staying in Cape May, you must take a Carriage ride! Our guide Megan was excellent and full of wonderful information about the town. Love doing a family carriage ride every year. Carriages are gorgeous and you feel like royalty! The horses are always well kept and it's fun to see how well trained they are.

We took the kids for a ride and absolutely loved it. They bring you down the residential areas of Cape May, while explaining the rich history of the area and the many beautiful Victorian homes. We were so impressed with the rich history of the area and highly recommend this tour.

Thanks for the great review !!!!!!!We all work hard to make your trip enjoyable.Getting the horses ready for work takes many hours of feeding, bathing, training and we all love what we do.Putting our guests on the carriage is the culmination of our day and so glad to hear you had a great time.
