“cold, snobby staff”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

Turdo Vineyards and Winery was on of the only time in Cape May, NJ that I felt unwelcome or not treated well. The attitude of the staff did not math our experience in cape May. I visited Turdo with my husband and another couple. When we arrived, we were not acknowledged by the Turdo staff. After waiting for several minutes at the counter we had to ask call a staff member over to see if we could purchase a tasting. She told us we would have to wait despite there being room and available staff to serve us. Once we were finally served, the staff member serving us hardly interacted with us. She often poured wines different than the ones we asked for an acted upset when we corrected her. The wines themselves were average - not horrible but not great either. I don't recommend Turdo if you are looking for a great pour or an engaging visit.
