“Best B&B in Cape May”
Reviewed May 8, 2012

We have been going to the "Inn at the Park" since 2001 and consider it "our home" in Cape May. Jay and Maryann Gorrick, the Owners/Inn Keepers, give 1000% of themselves to be sure that their guests feel at home from the moment they enter the door and are accommodated to the Nth degree! Jay went to the Culinary Institute of America and provides incredible/delicious breakfasts, and their 5PM Happy Hour is to "get to on time" enjoyable, with fantastic goodies and paired wine for the day. From experience, we know that all the rooms are charming and comfortable, with private baths and all the amenities. Jay and Maryann spend time with their guests at breakfast and Happy Hour, help with suggestions and reservations for restaurants, are genuinely interested in your experience in Cape May, and when you leave you know you have made friends and that you will definitely return to this Inn. Having stayed in several B&B's in Cape May in the past 30 years, we can unequivocably say that the "Inn at the Park" is the best B&B in Cape May! We highly recommend it!

Room Tip: Every room is comfortable and air conditioned - 3 in the house on 2nd and 3rd floors, and 3 in back...

If you are looking for the coziest bed and breakfast with the warmest owners and dynamite amenities, look no further than Inn and the Park. My wife and I have been visiting with Jay and Mary Ann for about six years now and ever since our very first trip, we have alwasys felt right at home. Jay cooks a wonderful breakfast and the afternoon hors d'ourves/wine are one of a kind. It's perfect for couples and the most romanctic inn my wife and I have stayed at. So treat yourself to a weekend away and as Jay and Mary Ann always say, leave it all behind at exit zero.

Room Tip: The Champagne Cottage is perfect for those that maybe travelling in groups, or looking for a little...

My husband and I stayed there in June 2010 for our honeymoon. Jay and Maryanne were excellent hosts. Maryanne always greets you with a smile and great conversation and Jay's gourmet breakfasts are absolutely delicious!! His afternoon hor dourves are also delicious - Jay always surprises you with something different. They made us feel so comfortable and gave great tips on what restaurants to eat at in Cape May. We stayed in the Cote-Parc room - it was so clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. We went back recently for a long weekend (11/11/11- 11/14/11) and stayed in the same room that we stayed in for our honeymoon. We were greeted with the same great hospitality from Maryanne and Jay as we experienced the first time. They are very accommodating - we put in a request for him to make the Broccoli, Cheese, and Sausage Sufflet that he made on our first visit and Jay served it for our first morning there. Inn at the Park is a great place to stay. Maryanne and Jay surely know how to spoil you.

We have stayied with Jay and Maryann at Inn at the Park for almost 11 years and would not stay at another B and B. Jay and Maryann are Inn at the Park, their hospitality and warmth are overwhelming as they make you feel right at home. Jay's breakfast are worth the trip and Maryann's serves up a smile with every course. I don't know about anyone else who has visited Inn at the Park and stayed with Jay and Maryann, I can say they have made us feel like family and that is why we return year after year. The wine and hors d'oeuvres Jay serves are exceptional as well as the conversation with them and the other guests. We look forward to our next visit at Christmas time. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.........

Room Tip: Any choice in rooms is a good choice. Each room has it's own charm.

My husband and I have stayed at the Inn at the Park every year for about 7 years now. We kind of fell upon this Inn after looking for a place to stay for a relaxing weekend. After calling some other inn's/B&B's, I was immediately impressed with how friendly MaryAnn was when I first spoke to her. My calls to other inns were not very friendly. Anyway, we continue to come here year after year for the beautiful home, comfortable accomodations, great food, wine and wonderful conversation. The breakfast is outstanding...you will not be disappointed! MaryAnn will even take special requests for your favorite breakfasts/breads (strada and banana chocolate chip are my faves!). Be sure to come for wine and h'orderves and spend some time talking with MaryAnn and Jay and all other other guests. My sister and brother-in-law have joined us on our last 2 trips to the Inn and enjoy it as much as we do. You won't be disappointed!

Room Tip: Top room of the main house is a great room. Also the 3 rooms in the 'cottage' are wonderful...

We can't say enough about our experience at the Inn. Maryann and Jay were exceptional hosts. The breakfast's were delicious, the 5:00 o'clock wine and hor d'oeuvres truely set the mood for a wonderful weekend getaway. We have already recommended it to family and can't wait to revisit next year! Worth every dollar!

Room Tip: All were wonderful

MaryAnn and Jay Gorrick make you feel like you are a guest in their home. Jay cooks wonderful three course gourmet breakfasts, as well as, happy hour hors d'oevres. They will, also, give you a variety of recommendations for dinner. This year our favorite was Martini Beach. After four visits, we look forward to returning to Cape May and staying with our friends at Inn in the Park.
