My wife and I had a great time! We stayed 3 nights and had an oceanfront/pool side view. It was very nice and we are planning on returning next year for a full week. There's so much to do and see. The office staff of Kathy and Sue were great! All the staff were. Our maid service (Catalina) was great! The room was immaculate. We had an efficiency suite and we had all we needed to make our meals! The property is located away from the center of Cape May which we liked, it was much quieter...especially as night came and early in the a.m. when we sat out on the balcony having our coffee. The maintenance staff are always busy! The pool is kept spotless, the hot tub is clean and at the right temperature. You won't see a cigarette butt or candy wrapper on the grounds...not even in the parking lot! Like I said, we are planning a return trip for a week in 2014 and I think we are even going to ask for the same room number. Thank you Sea Crest!

My husband and I have vacationed in Cape May several times before. We've stayed at B&Bs and we've rented houses with friends but on this particular trip we decided to stay at the Sea Crest Inn and we were NOT disappointed.

Our room opened up beautifully. There was a screen door that led to our balcony overlooking the pool (and the sea) and a "beach" door with wooden slats located just outside the actual room door allowed air to flow through the room while maintaining our privacy.

The beach was an easy 2 minute walk, as was an amazing sunset, and the city was an easy 5 minute walk. The pool and room were both clean and inviting.

On our last night in town we ordered in but the delivery man came with nothing more than food. The staff at the front desk was quick to gather the utensils and other items needed for me and my husband to enjoy our dinner.

We will be coming back to Cape May and when we do I hope we stay at the Sea Crest again! Thanks for a very relaxing vacation!

Stayed here week of 9/3/2013. We usually go to Virginia Beach but heard nice things about Cape May so we thought we would give it a try. Based on Trip Advisor reviews I called the Sea Crest hoping they would have a vacancy as it was just one week before our vacation. The woman who answered the phone was so nice and pleasant. She said that they did have a room but it had no views and was the basic room but was clean and comfortable. I said that would be fine with us. We arrived and check in was a breeze, staff super friendly, went to our room and you could tell that it was newly painted and carpeted, and the bathroom had all new fixtures and tiles. We had a queen sized bed, TV, mini fridge, coffee pot w/coffee, a hair dryer, iron & board as well. The room was super clean, the towels and soap and shampoo refilled every day too. Also, on the dresser was a basket with our names on it welcoming us and it was filled with snacks - what a super nice touch. We did not have a balcony and were tucked back in a corner but I was told this when I called - only negative is that the a/c could get loud waking us but it got cooler in the evenings so shutting it off wasn't an issue. Never had a problem with parking on site. The pool is nice but we didn't use it as we prefer to stay at the beach. Location is fantastic as it is right across the street from the quiet part of the beach but is an easy walk to restaurants and shops. We even walked to the light house - but that is quite a way and you can drive there in like 5 minutes and park right beside it. It is also a short drive to the winery and brewery and Wildwood too. This was our first time at Cape May and we loved everything about it - reminds you of Martha's Vineyard but the beach is much nicer here. All the staff is super friendly here and they keep everything very clean and we felt it was reasonably priced too. We will definitely return and will definitely stay a the Sea Crest again.

Room Tip: call sooner so you can get a room on the 3rd or 4th floor facing Beach Ave if you want a view

Got last minute reservations on one of the last week ends of the summer. Loved the location and the beauty of the "Cove" for swimming, long walks and perfect sunset views. Room accommodations not modern but very clean and comfortable. Friendly service.

Room Tip: Request floor 3-4 for the best ocean view.

Nice location and nice pool. Employee at check in was very nice. Room was in a weird location by the maid closet. Mattress was not good. Felt bowed in middle. Bathroom was updated and nice. Decor was outdated in rest of room. I think hotels should upgrade your room when not full. It would ensure return business.

Thanks for pointing out our clean rooms and pool. That is our number one goal. Mattresses are always subject to personal preference. To one customer the mattress is hard but to the next its soft. We do upgrade our rooms constantly. The furniture was bought two years ago. Even the Ritz doesn't change their rooms more than that. We have nine styles of rooms. You booked our smallest most economical room. We would love to have you back to stay in one of our eight other styles.
