This is the second time we've stayed in this lovely B&B. We love the ability to enjoy "the best of both worlds" - enjoying the Victorian charm of the main house, where you eat breakfast every morning, and enjoy tea in the afternoon, and staying in a large, modern suite with great amenities in the newer building behind the main house. We stayed in suite #203, a lovely one with a king bed and lots of natural light. We LOVE the large, 2-person jacuzzi tubs and double showers, as well as the cozy fireplace. The location is great for a winter getaway - just a short 10-min walk to the shopping area downtown, a great indoor shopping area across the street, and an easy drive to the lighthouse or Cape May Winery. Staff is very kind and accommodating, and breakfast was very good. Will definitely return.

Room Tip: Book a suite!

I so enjoyed staying at the Wilbraham. The room was spacious, equipped with all amenities, complete with jacuzzi tub and two-head shower...a very relaxing weekend. Winters on the porch with the beautiful poinsiettas, sun beating down on you with a freshly brewed cup of hot coffee...you just can't beat it! The service was friendly, polite and helpful. And the french toast breakfast was to die for! Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bars and of course, my favorite, spas. I would definitely recommend the Wilbraham and am sure I will be returning myself some day!

What a fantastic weekend. It is such a great short walk to downtown and the beach and back for a warm swim in the pool on such a cool day. Loved it! Thank you Doug and Jo for such great hospitality, clean room and fantastic breakfast.

What an amazing place! This was our second weekend at the Wilbraham, and once again, our accommodations were spectacular. This time, we had a room in the newer section with the huge Jacuzzi tubs. The Sunday breakfast with the famous Wilbraham French toast was a delicious way to end our visit. We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: The rooms in the older section are classic Victorian, but the newer section has the Jacuzzi tubs. T...

Rooms not so bad....location was its strong point. You can walk almost everywhere. When I stay at a bed and breakfast I expect a decent breakfast. Microwaved frozen quiche does't cut it. Especially for the price. There wasn't any warm nice feeling there. Never saw a owner or inn keeper. So I can not give this inn a high rating

I never would have imagined Cape May as a destination for the winter, but I'm really glad that my fiancée surprised me with this trip and a stay at the Wilbraham Mansion. It felt like we had the whole town to ourselves and the Wilbraham was a great headquarters location. Not only is it central to some great shops, bars, and restaurants but it was also a pleasant place to return to at night. The pool was heated, our suite had a jacuzzi, and the bed was very, very comfortable. By the time our stay was over, we were miffed at having to return back to NYC for big city life, but the Wilbraham and Cape May definitely have a place in our hearts from now on.
