We went for an early dinner at Salt with our 5 month old son. They were super helpful in helping us set up his car seat at the table and he loved the live music, which was not overwhelming or loud. Food was also delicious. It's not that cheap, but worth a trip if you are in the area.

We stopped here after a walk through nearby Waterloo Village with friends last Saturday. We had been wanting to try the restaurant for a while and were happy we did. We were seated promptly and took some time to peruse the menu. Lots of interesting choices. My wife had the catfish fillets, our friends each had a different steak dish, and I had sea scallops with portabella mushrooms and bacon chunks. We each agreed that our meal was excellent. We will be sure to stop again.

Great kitchen, not pub grub, although burgers & hand cut fries are on their menu
Seasonal menu changes !
Daily soups, salads & specials !
Food is the best in the county, if not the region !
They have an amazing herd of beers both on tap & in bottle !
A satellite Salt exists nearby for beer & food samplings !!!
& get this...
a couple of nights per month, musical performing artists of note & fame perform there; been about 5 times, it's special & intimate !
This is our favorite place in NJ/PA, great good, casual & a great village bohemian interior !!!
We often lunch there after mountain biking in local State Park !
Just go~~~you'll love it !!!
