Stopped in for dinner, very impressed! The New England Clam Choder was some of the best I've had (no sand and lots of tender clams!), service was friendly and timely. The shrimp & scallops were cooked perfectly and seasoned well (had the sweet thai shrimp & scallops...excellent!). A very welcoming resturuant... the cook even came outto make sure our meals were prepared to our liking.

“Awesome seafood”
Reviewed September 19, 2013

On vacation and wanted to stop here because they have such good reviews...it was excellent! If you get there before 5:30 you can order off the early bird menu...I got the beer battered grouper, potato wedges, chef veggies...it also came with a choice of soup or a salad and a dessert all for $16....what a deal...the food and Waite staff were excellent...if you're near Brigantine, I would highly recommend it...summer open 7 days a week but after Labor Day only open Thursday through Monday.

“Super Hooper”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

While vacationing in Brigantine NY just outside of Atlantic City, our group of 4 gave Hooper's a whirl. It's a relatively small restaurant immediately adjacent to a fresh fish market that I believe is part of Hooper's business. I had a grouper dish that was prepared in with a topping I hadn't had before which was excellent. The others had dishes they also thought were quite good. Our server was both pleasant and knowledgeable and the hostess was a delight. The only drawback is that it can be a little noisy. We might have experienced a bit more of that than on most nights. Toward the end of our meal a very large group of young women, close to 20, came in for a pre-wedding party. Given the size of Hooper's it was hard not to be impacted by the merry makers. All in all, our group would all recommend that you give Hooper's a try. We would definitely go back.

“Never fails to please”
Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

We love Hoopers. It's a well known treasure for locals but get there on the earlier side for dinner cause the secret's out. The entrees are so fresh and creative. A favorite was the beer battered grouper. Excellent for kids too. Mine really liked the fried shrimp platter (shared for smaller ones) and the chowder is delicious! Be prepared for a somewhat pricey meal but well worth it.

“Great to be a Local!”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

We are locals from nearby Galloway, close friends recommended Hoopers. The service was friendly and efficient. Rolls & Mini-corn muffins are placed on the table prior to your salads, which are tasty. Seafood is fresh and nicely prepared. I usually go for the specials, this night I had the Chilean Sea bass which was delicious. My husband had the scallops, YUM!
This is a family affair restaurant and Michelle makes you feel like one of the family! The tables are close, so be prepared to be one of the family! : )
Love the all you can eat special off-season, early May for Friday Night Fry All You Can Eat...
Great to be a Local! Remember this is a seasonal restaurant...Call in the off-season!
